Yeah they had a father daughter relationship. He thought of her father as his brother. His father betrayed him but she never did he even felt guilty about lying to her cause she was one of the few people who never betrayed him.
He just wanted someone who doesn't betray him and do anything in this whole damn world to save him!!!! And she did-....she didn't lie to him...when she was against him she told and came face to face instead of stabbing oh his back!!! Omg😭

Choi mujin is like Ras Al ghul leader of a group of assassin's or gang whatever, values loyalty the most, values talent and takes in people whose revenge fuels them to become ruthless,unafraid of death and a complex personality and mindset.
They definitely had great chemistry and they loved eachother but couldn't ever get together because of - Age gap - Mujin was ready for Jiwoo to kill her - Jiwoo loved Pildo romantically more Jiwoo's relationship with Mujin wad complex because she loved him as a father figure and romantically but she loved Pildo more romantically which is probably why Mujin killed him, because he was jealous and because he knew that would trigger her to come after him. I definantly think she would have been willing to forgive him because of the strong love that she had for him and also because her father knew what Mujin was capable of and what he would do if he was betrayed but he still did it and that's why he got killed. Mujin's relationship with Jiwoo is also complex as he loved her romantically and like a daughter but I feel it was more romantically and that's why he killed Pildo because he was jealous of him. His love for Jiwoo never faded and that's why he didn't kill her. He had plenty of chances to when he found out she had betrayed him too he could have killed her as soon as he found out but he didn't. Even before she came to him he could have killed her and even when she did show up he could have shot her at any time as he had a gun. He could have said what he wanted to say and let her say what she wanted to say and then shot her but he didn't. Even when they were fighting he could have easily killed her with the state she was in but he didn't because he wanted her to kill him. She would rather her kill him than him kill her. I'm so sad that this ended because its such a great show and has great potential for a Season 2. When Jiwoo left, his guys could have rushed in and he could have been treated for his wounds and then when he was healed, set out to look for Jiwoo and then she could have forgiven him and their relationship could have gone places or maybe she could have pretended to forgive him but only so she could succeed in killing him and then they could both die at the end. We know Pildo is dead because of the scene at the end but we saw nothing like that for Mujin so we don't know if he's really dead.
Im just sad her actual love interest died, like I dont think a single person liked the ending, it was miserable. Why did they have to ruin the perfect ending they had going on
