@@FPS-ON hey i actaully managed to play elden ring on 40fps apart from that and stream while playing smoothly fortnite and its been great for video editing and graphic designing
i have it in a laptop which is around ~3% worse than desktop variant, its a good little gpu never reaching above 55C. i think its limit for 1080p is war thunder high-medium and medium forza horizon 5 settings, which runs 60 fps +- 10 fps. if buying brand new, id suggest considering a rx 580 (or rx 590) because its likely to (somehow) be cheaper/similarly priced depending on your region, while getting an extra 4gb vram.
@@FPS-ON i use it for work and uni but it'll come in handy for travelling abroad soon enough. i mostly rely on the cpu, but its fine running stuff like unity without a problem which made my life really easy. its a hp pavilion 15 ec1001na i bought 3 years ago and i lucked out with reliability of the laptop so far. no hinge problems or signs of dying, just keyboard scratches on the screen which is sad. i bought a 1tb ssd for windows, linux and some tiny programs, a 2tb m.2 nvme for everything else like games and upgraded to 16gb ram but i should've put 32gb instead. overall its a solid gpu. i could've went with 4050/3050 laptops at the time, but they always came with horrendous compromises.
@@kochiss ah nice, it's good that it runs what you need it to run and that's a good upgrade too, I know when I did mine it was on like 128gb ssd for windows and 1tb hhd storage so I upgraded mine to a 2TB SSD and 1TB NVMe for boot with 32gb of ram, I will say the only downside to having more ram is the battery life has dropped a bit. But yeh I know what you mean HP is a good brand my friend has one and he's had it for some time now and it's still going well
thats a really good upgrade too, must've felt like a whole new system lol. i think you may be running way more demanding programs and tasks now which could be the reason for a battery impact. hp does have some problems, hp hinge problem doesnt come from nowhere but at least the laptops dont die or seems to die less often. someone i know had the ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA506ic (iirc rtx 3050 + ryzen 4600h) and despite the laptop being nursed, fans being always unobstructed and only browsing on linux, the motherboard or cpu fried itself right outside of warranty. personally i had the cerberus oc 1050ti die randomly too. now i hope my current asus motherboard of 3 years running doesnt die. ill never again with asus.
i had this card for 4years now and somehow i get 180fps constantly
that's quite a long time dayum, it's a lil beast haha. What other games do you play with that card?

Who else has this card or is thinking of getting it? 🤔

@@kochissoh wow that sounds like a solid laptop, do you use it as a daily system then or just for portability when you're on the go?
