    Hi Gino! It's Mylene. Thank you for the shout out on your way home. I've walked to Navitas to catch the sunrise, no entrance fee before. About 15 mins to walk from the house.
    Thanks and enjoy everyday!

      You're welcome my friend. I would be walking every morning from your house to Navitas Beach if I lived there. That would be a nice walk. They started the entrance fee during the pandemic; I think at first to track people. Say hello to Nanay Gloria, from us. Take care.

    I love the mornings by the edge of water always -so calm. Brings me back to when I was in school in the north. My grand-aunt had a house less a mile from the ocean. I love the water - Very nice and thanks for the post, man!

      We are kindred spirits my brother. We have the same experiences growing up in the Philippines. I am so at peace when I walk by the ocean. You’re welcome my brother.

    agree 100 % about Iloilo. thats my destination if i retire again. TMC Iloilo a plus if you are enrolled in Tricare. Be safe and enjoy.

      If I had to retire in a city in the Philippines; Iloilo City would be my choice! Beautiful city! Thank you our friend.

    Road conditions (traffic) perfect for road cycling.

      Road cycling is so popular in our province of Aklan since the pandemic. I see so many big groups of cyclists everywhere. I am so tempted to get back into cycling. 😃

    Would be nice to sit in one of those cabanas with a cooler of drinks and take a dip to snorkel around a bit. Is the water good/clean for swimming there?
    I remember you going to the Injap hotel in one of your previous videos. You can walk right across the street to the mall. Iloilo City does look like a great place. Def on my retirement radar 👍. Thx for the video

    • @dazeltv1351
      @dazeltv1351  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Dazel and I have sat in those cabanas many times with a cooler. Yes; the water is good/clean for swimming. Not ideal for snorkeling in my opinion because its mostly black sand (no coral) and gets deep fast. You do see some fish. The waves are normally strong on this beach.
      Yes; Injap Hotel is our go-to hotel in Iloilo City. So convenient; walking distance to SM City Iloilo, S&R (Filipino Costco), and the Atria which are restaurants, bars, and shopping. It almost feels like I am walking in a city in the United States when I walk around that area. You're welcome my friend.

    Hi Ginno, great video… when your friends come to Kalibo what hotels do you suggest?

    • @dazeltv1351
      @dazeltv1351  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I recommend GQ Hotel at Pastrana Park, Kalibo, Aklan. Nightly rate is about 1,700 pesos ($30). Has a nice rooftop restaurant with a nice view of Kalibo. Coffee shop on the first floor. Within walking distance of Aklan Museum, Kalibo Cathedral, and multiple restaurants.

    Navitas Beach has not so good reviews. In Bohol and Cebu are nicer beaches

    • @dazeltv1351
      @dazeltv1351  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes; Navitas Beach is not a tourist destination. No nice hotels to stay or resort restaurants. It is a fishing village. It’s for someone who wants to experience the beach like how the local Filipinos experience the beach.
