Gut health is linked to the health of our entire body. The friendly bacteria in our gut help with digestion of food, absorption of nutrients, weight loss, building our immunity and preventing allergies. Probiotic Foods are natural foods that contain a variety of beneficial microbes. Consuming probiotic foods is important for maintaining our gut health and for preventing countless chronic diseases like IBS, food allergies, skin allergies etc.
In this video, I am sharing with you 4 Indian probiotic foods that naturally contain good bacteria and should be consumed regularly for boosting our gut health. These are Indian foods that should be a part of your diet for good gut health. Its best to have foods that are naturally rich in probiotics rather than pumping supplements. I hope this video is useful and you will include these awesome foods filled with probiotics and boost your gut health.

In olden days people used to soak leftover rice in water nd keep overnight and consume it next day along with dahi or some chatni. This rice is very good in probiotics. You can also mix dahi or butter milk to the rice nd keep overnight. It is very good for health.

I have absolutely no regrets about any fancy breakfast. I could be free of hunger fr minimum (6) hours! Thanx to the good old meals - it's kept me healthy so far!

Raabdi is consumed as probiotic drink during hot summers in Rajasthan. Barley porridge (jau daliya) is cooked in chhas(buttermilk),like Kadhi, during evening time and left overnight. It is blended with chhas and consumed as a drink during mornings.

Hi, Thank you for this great video! You asked for more suggestions of fermented food. In Andhra Pradesh, we make a breakfast fermented dish called chaddanam with left over rice. You can find videos on that as well
