There is a lot of love cooking from Vietnamese people because the war with many great power last century and all the female gave all their heart to cook good food to their men and families.
I’m glad you enjoy our Vietnamese food. It’s great to watch you trying out the food besides Pho and banh mi, if a foreigner can tell me a Vietnamese dish besides pho and banh mi I would be impressed and be like “ah, this person actually knows about Vietnamese food” 😅 Thank you for making such a good video, I really like the way you express your feeling about the taste and everything 😊

I’m happy to hear you enjoyed the videos. Don’t worry, I really don’t pay much attention to the negativity. As long as I’m happy and proud of what I’m doing and constantly looking to improve it doesn’t matter. You can’t please everyone :)
I bursted in joy hearing that you enjoyed bun bo hue and mentioned it's on par with ramen from Japan! Mine and my husband's favorite Vietnamese noodle soup is mi quang! When it's made with shrimp, pork, and chicken - it's the best! Thank you for sharing my motherland's cuisine :).
Chinese noodle soups are widespread throughout Asia, there is a lot of snobbery with Ramen, the Japanese version. (Is good but not at the level of the hipe aboat that) In truth, the Vietnamese version, the Pho or the Thai Kuay Tillo version, are the best. For my part it is difficult to decide between them, for vegetables and meat a reference in Thailand, but for the soup and the taste, the subtlety of the bolt, clearly, it is better in Vietnam. Unfortunately in Laos, there is only pasta with little meat and lots of hot water... Communism and poverty, I imagine. Well, the rest of the Laotian cuisine is super good, which makes up for it. There is also a lot of Vietnamese cuisine in Vientiane, the capital. In Thailand, we have a lot of Lao cuisine, (Local Nam is ISAN, 1/4 of Thailand are Lao Peapol) but unfortunately nothing Vietnamese. (not spicy enough for Thais, I guess) I spend three months a year in Bangkok and I would like to eat a good bami or bouboon for chang of Fried rice and cocomilk curie, bami you eat un stree like French Jambon beur or Turkish Kebab, it's prety cool.
The food is made to be vital and alive, as my Vietnamese friend explained most restaurants cafes have a small garden on their roof So very fresh herbs.. Out of the 4 main countries I would rate Vietnam as the best Period and some of that is in their spiritual Happy attitude. Actually make consider living there.. I can vouch for the last place (Annie Cookie @ The Courtyard in Xuan Thuy, District 2). I've had NY style cookies many times during my years abroad, and the cookies at this place are definitely on par with the US ones, maybe even better because they aren't as sweet. My favorites here are the Biscoff and the S'mores ones, and I highly recommend them! Admittedly, the prices are definitely higher than normal, but you can tell that the store used very quality ingredients and each cookie is quite hefty as well, so I think it's worth it!
