I saw him in the Albert Hall in 1954, he was amazing, just like he sounded on his 1930's records at 64.
I was 16/17 at the time, I still have the programme.

To the best of my knowledge this is the only remnant. Unfortunately Gigli never recorded any of these Bellini tracks commercially.
The "Fenesta" is a bit hectoring (di Stefano did a lovely, melting version) but the "Prendi" and "A te o cara" are 24 carat Gigli gold. Wonderful.
