Give Ziqo some more credit. He is one of the best classic mages in the world and has beaten a max geared world buffed paladin that had Raiding Frost immunity potions. Ziqo absolutely could have sweated it out more if he wanted to.
It's obvious that too few of the commenters saw this whole thing. A) it was not punishment. He won to vote to stay Mayor. The duel was Ziqo's choice to add drama. B) The item was not sold. It was given to the person who needed it - it was a pre raid bis item given to a level 60- and previously they had told Ziqo that he could distribute the loot however he wanted. C) They have a low level gear and mount guild that people donate to, the 100G from the level 60 was to go towards that. I don't like any of the streamers involved here and it was annoying af to watch this meeting but Ziqo did not betray anyone which is why he won the vote to stay.
He won the vote to stay because it required 65% to pass but they only got 55% so a majority of people felt betrayed, just not a supermajority. Ziqo also equipped the dark velvet robes without deliberation and allowed Vigors to steal the Staff of Jordan without consequence. Ziqo did many mistakes even if they weren’t intentional. Also the undeads are filled with sweats who value their characters more than making actual entertaining content so that’s why they voted against the Mak Gora.

Mage is so over the top that even if someone is 6 lvl higher than you, you still have a chance because of poly. And after you get iceblock, you are pretty much unstoppable unless you're against a warlock. A good mage never loses to rogue in equal grounds, the only time rogue has a chance is when the rogue is 6 lvl higher and the mage is lvl 25 :D So Ziqo potentially winning this duel isnt even that far fetched.
