@@ronnyrdr6553 favonius series weapons are good weapons though. but yeah, i’m not gonna lie the RNG gacha system is indeed crappy as hell. but if i got two 5*s in 90ish pulls, I’d still consider that a good run. we can’t win ‘em all. the gacha system isn’t designed to let players have more wins than fails.

I mean, this looks exactly like when I pull. I almost never ever get the 50/50 so wasn’t ready surprised. I think you had such enormous luck on the previous account it kind of leveled your expectations. Getting Mona is actually super nice (imo) and it’s a guaranteed ShenHe for the next character so that a silver lining. I hope you get better luck. 💛
The previous account wasn't luck. Streamers that made accounts early on got their accounts sponsored without actually getting a sponsorship. The company increased the chances of a great pull and with higher frequency for advertising purposes. The goal is to get the viewers to believe that if they make an account, they can get all the cool stuff super easily too. The sad part is that many people have spent thousands on this game and barely have reached what Mtashed achieved with his "f2p" account.

He will always go to pity for a 5 star, unlike before when he hardly ever got to pity and pulled exactly what he needed almost every time. When luck is consistent like that, it isn't luck anymore.
Nobody wins the lottery every time they play and to suggest that someone winning the lottery multiple times in a row is just really lucky is ignorant.

Literally my feels. Did 280 summons, saved for months. Got c2 gorou and c1 itto. 2 itto, 3 gorou, 14 Barbara, 12 xiangling on my character summons. Got super lucky with the weapon tho, but damn those Barbara’s feel rigged man
saved since i spent all my primos on hu tao's weapon banner and got a homa, decided to save for xiao, likes itto, decides to pull for itto, got c2 gorou a xiangling which makes her c3 and a barbara.... and then qiqi

I'm planning to get Xiao and Ganyu, and let say they come out on the 1st half of 2.4, I estimated that I'll have about 240-250 pulls (including pity + not guaranteed) by the time 1st half of 2.4 ends.

3:35 these moments make me think that mtashed could genuinely be a great voice actor! it sounds so much like itto would/does! there was another moment earlier on that made me think the same
6:34 Mtashed's breaking point. It was this moment where he truly regret spending money on this banner
they seriously need a 4-star epitomized path, especially since even f2ps are getting c6s and beyond. or even something like “if you have x 4-star on the banner c6, increases the chance to get other 4-stars on the banner by x%” not even a guarantee. then again, after seeing how much money they made when whales tried to get thoma despite already having c6 hu taos, i doubt they’ll do anything to make it more bearable
(then again, we said the same for the weapon banner before the path system, so who knows.)
edit: the fact that you could theoretically spend infinite amounts of money and never get the 4-star you want is a travesty. not to mention the insult to injury when you get a copy of a character you already have c6, and get a measly single wish for the 10-pull it took to get it.
this isn’t as much of a problem for other gacha games because typically a character of lower rarity is definitively worse than characters of higher rarity, but that definitely cannot be said for genshin. especially considering that no new characters are being added to the starglitter shop; if you’re going to keep the constant RNG at least add them there
It honestly seems like they secretly made it more likely to get Barbara, I haven’t personally wished on this banner but anyone I’ve seen wish a significant amount on this banner has always gotten a ridiculous amount of Barbara compared to the other 4 stars
I did 90 wishes and I got 1 Itto, 1 Gorou, 4 Xianglings and 12 Barbruhs, bruh.

Weird, I've seen a lot of people who were relatively lucky with Gorou. Even I managed to get c6 gorou before I got itto.
Within 60 wishes I got 1 gorou and 1 itto. As soon I got itto I dipped I know I'll just get 100 barbaras instead of c6 gorou lol

The issue here is that he'll get the characters and weapons much earlier now instead of adapting, becoming yet just another meta account, especially if he gets every new 5 star.

@Jose Gomez truth is the community spends $$$ on the game already so mihoyo has no incentive to change. they know exactly what they are doing and have the system down to a science to make the most amount of money as possible. their goal is to make you mad enough that you pull out that wallet and throw money at em, not make it easier for you to play

Yea, man. I keep telling people that the abyss is doable even with the first few starter character with investment. People are too concern with this so called "meta" that it's blocking their fun for the game.

@@acetempest5830 i mean clearing abyss is easy, completely doable with any characters. getting 36* isn't, and that's when meta becomes important. you need two strong 5* dps with built coherent teams, especially now that the enemies are getting so tanky.

tbh, just because you have average (maybe even slightly bad) luck, doesn't mean your account is cursed, sure it's frustrating, but it's out of our control, and that's what makes this game so frustrating, we can mald as much as we want, but it is ultimately out of our reach.

I do not go for more than C0 (except I did get my Hu Tao to C1, and attempted for Eula C1 but failed for her during these recent reruns)

I don't know may be it's me but i feel like mihoyo has rigged the pity system. I saw most content creators getting barbara. I got myself 5 barbaras. Only one gorou. Also in weapon banner most of them got skyward harp. Really, it feels like every banner is a scam.

It is rigged. There’s no way it is not. If Gorou, Xiangling and Barbara have equal rate/chance, I shouldn’t be getting 12 Barbaras and just 1 Gorou after 90 wishes. The count of 4*characters I should get from the banner should have numbers relatively close to one another.

Haven't done a crystal top up in a while, so last night I bought the $30 and $50 top ups which I haven't purchased since the bonuses refreshed. I ended up getting Itto's weapon AND a super early Itto constellation! This is my first constellation for a limited character so I was super excited. I think I got luckily, cause I don't always get what I want when I buy crystals. 😅
