Ben, I love fishing more than anything in the world, but you, my friend, are on a completely different level than I am....! I love your videos, with you explaining everything from the business side of fishing, to the simple side of it. Ive learned so much from you, I really appreciate the time and experience you share with us... THANKS !!!
Wow! Those are some outstanding Crappie! Here where I live in WV, those would be trophy size for sure. Wish you continued success in the upcoming tournies.
See clear uses top of the line wire. It’s like having a high end speaker system, there is wire that is cheap material and doesn’t conduct as well as the high end wire.
Well so much for those days where you get out in the new boat and wonder if it's cursed... you left no doubt there! Excited to see how you put those crappie brakes to work in tournaments too
I run the machines that make a lot of parts for the Ultrex Quest. Johnson Outdoors is very keen on making this the best trolling motor on the market. Our company has even gotten a scientific microscope to measure the parts out to the exact dimensions of what these motors require. I am so looking forward to seeing how this motor helps. You are gonna kill it on the tour this year. Open invitation to visit our factory any time. Keep up these fire videos
LFG 🔥 Ben, Slaw and Mfers 💥. Those craps are some big sumbitches!!! They look delish 🤤😋. Always good 💩 from the Milliken Fishing Fam as usual! Keep Rippin 🎣..... DEAL
Ben please could you show a close up of how your steering cable sleeve is routed out of your foot pedal. I cannot get my sleeve to lay nicely with 3 screens up front. Yours deploys so beautifully
Milliken living rent free in Lunkers head. Is the best way to put it. We all know 6th sense is way better in all aspects of there business and how they go about it. Mfer for life, I have learned so much from Ben in the few years I have been fishing. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and providing us anglers with great products!!
Nathan Martin and Sea Clear got a heck of a plug in this video! That’s awesome man. Good product. Good people. Keep the train rollin MFers. Toledo soon, let’s go!
Drive the nicest boat you can afford and are comfortable fishing from. Carry that boat on the best trailer you can. Have the best tires you can on that trailer. Pull the trailer and boat with the best vehicle you can for you and your family's comfort and safety. use the best rods and reels you can and outfit that boat with all the best equipment you can: motor, steering, floatation devices, and electronics. I can't afford many things, including ffs. This doesn't make my fishing any better or worse , I enjoy fishing on my used pontoon, with an old motor, three 12 volt batteries, and inexpensive new rods and reels alongside the yardsale rods and reels.
Fun Fact. Sea Clear's owner is related to Scott Martin and regularly fishes Wilson Lake where he developed the harness for the very same reason Ben stated.
I can't wait to use the Clobber Minnow, but I have a ways to go, we just got a layer of ice on the lake. Now i got to wait another 3 months for open water.
Ben you should definitely try Logan Martin in Alabama to get ready for catching spots on Smith lake. Now lake Martin is pretty close to way Smith fishes but nothing beats Coosa river spots
Ben love watching your big swim bait videos I've been watching your videos for years I've learned a great deal from you last year I had my best year ever in2023 I caught 14 bass over 10 lb all from the bank 🏧 I would love to see you when the classic good luck in the elet series I believe you're the best big bass fisherman in the world
Bro again and again you show me the difference between ur standard angler and the guy who balls out nd let me tell you I neeeed it. Power harness is dope
Love your videos. I just get to go fishing about two or three weeks out of the year and I learn more watching your videos to try and catch fish. We usually go to lake fork and try and catch bigger fish. Thanks for trying to help us with your videos. I do have one question, why do we never know what lake you are on? Is it to keep people from knowing where you are?
bass get black scales kinda at random, is lowkey genetic. its just a patch of extra melanin, they happen more often as the individual ages. so bigger bass would tend to have more due to being older fasho
Hey Ben, love the videos and info, uhm curious could I just buy that sea clear cable for my yak I have 2 fish finders one with scope? Would this help me aswell as the sight only tells me to choose a boat.
The back up on the poles is game changer for pulling in those fish for sure ! Less stress on the line. Can’t wait to see what this year has in store you!
Hey Ben how do you like those apex units? So in my boat I putt the sea clear wire harness the power house 16 v 100 amp hr run and gun charger to the 16 v.. so with all that my question is.. I'm running a helix 12 at console helix 9 at bow with garmin 126 sv and boat also has 360 mega on trolling motor.. I wanna run either a solix 15 or apex 16 and console and move my helix 12 up to bow of the boat.. what unit would you put at console?? And do I have enough battery to run this??
I run a 2 separate batterys. 1with the power cord of my livescope black box right to the battery. And the garmin unit power cord right to the othere battery..nothing else is connected to them .they are strictly just for each device Each battery is a 12v 40ah agm
You talk a lot about the clear screen and clean power, but you have a ton of reflection from something on that left side in the water column. It’s likely from the jack plate or maybe you have something else installed on that left side?
hey....quick question if you have time. Any reason why you still use spinning gear instead of the great bait casters and rods for lightweight stuff? i sure don't miss line twist and flipping a bail. thank you sir
Livescopers make a lot less casts in a day. This results in less pressure on the fish. Making fish less spooky to lures. Could be the savior of bass fishing. But don't tell any old timers that. They will think your spotlighting deer.
I’m a huge fan, please remain calm and respectful to all the people you run into this season in the Elites, just make the correct choices. The fishing should take care of itself 😊
Great video - I can see it now….. by tomorrow afternoon another anti tech video will be put out by “Negative Nancy”. He will be wanting to ban side imaging and he already is complaining about your crappie brakes. 🙄
Must be nice to still be able to take your new boat out this time of year. If fishing is heroin, ice fishing is suboxone, and it just isn't an adequate fix. Im jonesin to fish BAD. Aint been in almost 10 days now, and its gonna be a long couple months before i can go again.
Ben, I love fishing more than anything in the world, but you, my friend, are on a completely different level than I am....!
I love your videos, with you explaining everything from the business side of fishing, to the simple side of it. Ive learned so much from you, I really appreciate the time and experience you share with us... THANKS !!!
Great video Ben thank you, and Thanks to Coleslaw for the phenomenal camera work as usual
That’s a sick boat. Best made boat in the business in my opinion they are built like a tank.
Wow! Those are some outstanding Crappie! Here where I live in WV, those would be trophy size for sure. Wish you continued success in the upcoming tournies.
Fellow west virginian I can vouch lol those crappie he’s catching could swallow our average sized crappie lol
Same here in Ohio
I'm from WV as well. Where are you fishing? I grew up fishing Stonecoal Lake and Stonewall Jackson Lake
You do an excellent job of explaining everything.
Like a skillet, gotta season the deck so the rest are comfortable.!🤣🤣 Love the new boat and setup. Super Sweet. Another great vid guys, thanks!
Do you run 2 of the 16v batteries in parallel or just one?
Would enjoy seeing the basscat tackle organization & tackle tour
You are one epic day of tournament fishing from stardom. Watching you evolve has been entertaining. You're all lined up, so just make it so.
Boat looks amazing can’t wait for the classic I say put that bass cat on center stage get that WIN hell ya buddy 2024 gunna be a great year #1
See clear uses top of the line wire. It’s like having a high end speaker system, there is wire that is cheap material and doesn’t conduct as well as the high end wire.
Enjoying learning all your swimbait techniques and learning the livescope.thanks for the videos!...love the new boat!!...good luck this year.
Well so much for those days where you get out in the new boat and wonder if it's cursed... you left no doubt there! Excited to see how you put those crappie brakes to work in tournaments too
Ben, could you show me a screenshot example of the gizzard shad vs threadfin on side imaging please.

Meh 6th sense isn't that good
Opinions are like assholes everyone has one
Nice electronics. And a lot of room on the deck with everything you have on it.
Awesome video guys!!! Looking good for sure!
Nathan Martin and Sea Clear got a heck of a plug in this video! That’s awesome man. Good product. Good people. Keep the train rollin MFers. Toledo soon, let’s go!
Congratulations on the new boat! Looks awesome.
I use a Seelite harness on my Kayak and use a 20v 6 aH Dewalt tool battery for the graph and the Black Box lasts about 4.5 hours

All about lowering the ESR!
@@shawnhansen4962do those circuits ever get damaging power surges? The way he described it made it sound like you could fry the screens maybe…
Just get amped outdoors 48ah battery I get 16.4 volts all day

Awesome video Ben and Coleslaw!! Ben you have put the work in to have a badass boat!! Keep RIPPIN#LIPS#
Great setup mate, and great vid.. but just wondering how many times Coll has thought of just crash tackling you off the front deck lol ???
Dude! You sure make this look easy👍
Great video I predict you win a elite tournament this year Great stuff

Ben what are the lines on your side imaging. I have it also. Ben trying to figure out fire sometime what is causing them.
Thanks
Great video Ben. Wish you could do a video everyday my man. It makes my day to watch you catch some good fish.
Just bought the 6.5inch 6th sense draw and it’s incredible
G-Man just picked you to win the Classic on Mercer's show. Go get em Ben...
Dammmmnnnn Ben, you got 32 inch monitors on the boat, them graphs are beautiful!!! Congrats on that bad azz rig bud!

What’s your leader line and length ? Also what knots are you using for leaders ?
Goodluck this season on tour
Great video as always! See you on Toledo in February!
Lookin a little unstoppable bud!
Ben I have a question about your electronics setup. Are you still using 12v for your mega 360.
Love your videos. I just get to go fishing about two or three weeks out of the year and I learn more watching your videos to try and catch fish. Which rod are you throwing the little cricket on?

Sweet Rig Ben, best of luck Bro!....Those Rear Scopping Motors may be BAN.....ask you know who 😂😭....lol
The bass cat is sweet!
Saw u on the lake yesterday looks good man. Good luck this year
Ben u should make some more backyard pond videos soon
Thats some skill. Slow reel and shake the pole while staring at the screen. How dont you fall in doing all those things at one time?
Seems like the sonar kinds takes the fun out of fishing

Maiden Voyage of the Milli-Kitty!!!
You bettttt!
Randy wants to know how that forward facing sonars doing 😂!!
BassCat is the deal love my Cat !! They lay up in the air so good wide open like a Cadillac….
What size weight on the jigheads for the crappie cricket
Imagine Rob Terk being jealous of you

I love how Coleslaw actually uses the machines to watch when the fish is just about to break the surface and jump to get his shot 😂. Genius.

This is about as entertaining as an Elite series tournament. I think you are ready.
Can we get a daggum COLESLAW hoodie/shirt please and thank you
You talk a lot about the clear screen and clean power, but you have a ton of reflection from something on that left side in the water column. It’s likely from the jack plate or maybe you have something else installed on that left side?
It's called prop wash
I’m curious what the fix will be? I don’t think it’s “prop wash” as I have the same lines on my Garmin, main motor tilted out of the way.
😅 never tear the plastic off your graph. That’s what keeps them balance, and sinking together with the water.
Those bigger bass were staged. The buck bass were swimming with the crappie which are about to get ready to spawn. Great video!!
Dude got me I thought the video was over after the catfish 😂
I must have missed the boat love and hate talk somewhere lol...good fishing vid tho
hey....quick question if you have time. Any reason why you still use spinning gear instead of the great bait casters and rods for lightweight stuff? i sure don't miss line twist and flipping a bail. thank you sir
The drag on spinning reels are superior
Line management is the secret to zero line twist…. and using Daiwa spinning reels.
Daiwa is king
Spinning with always be far superior with light setups. He uses casting stuff whenever he can get away with it.

Im getting a single lithium just for my electronics this year so I can separate the cranking from the electronics and trolling motor batteries.
I bet Randy can teach you how to grab a catfish. Ha!
Nice rig
Are the lines on the left side of your SI interference?
I’m curious about that myself and what the “cure” is, as I have the same lines on my Garmin when using sidevu
BM just got straight up GANKED by Rob and CZ! Gonna have to use those crappie propellers to get away from them!
Some interference on side scan on the left side.
Is that just from the jackplate?
Prop wash
That’s not prop wash. Prop wash doesn’t show as lines like that
Curious what the fix is Ben 🤔
Haha “not huge just a 6 pounder”. Quote of a fishing genius
Your a beast enough said
Love the setup Ben, what brand of crappie brakes did you go with?
SeeLite Seebrakes
