- Astral Spriggan looks absolutely unreal! Many new abilities and customizations to take advantage of. This Spriggan literally has it all: metal, rubber, dual spin, 4 DRIVER MODES…list goes on and on. If you take into account all of the parts that are included in this set, you can make 600 different combos/modes. Takara Tomy definitely knows their audience and buyers…we were going to buy Astral Spriggan no matter how expensive or big the set was going to be 😂. The biggest weakness of this Bey is the teeth, but that is easily overlooked since there’s a billion positives to this Bey. That Quattro Driver is going to be legendary!

SHU AND SPRIGGAN ARE BACK! This is a crazy evolution of the Spriggan Bey that brings back some classic features and welcomed upgrades. We seriously didn't think that Astral Spriggan would weigh this much and the Quattro Driver is going to be legendary in our opinion. The only flaw is that Spriggan's teeth aren't the strongest, but we can see why it's like that. Spriggan's have practically been impossible to burst ever since Beyblade Burst Turbo/Cho-Z 😂 I guess this gives other Beys a bit of a chance. We got some crazy battles on the way, so stay locked to the channel! Funfact: the nexus disc with s gear was inspired from the any forged disc with turn frame and the gimmick is from 2b chassis and when you put it on astral Spriggan, this bey will even more versatile!

Amazing unboxing Spriggan is so good! Also I love the Ryuga art in the background it’s nostalgic.
I actually love how TT is reverting back to making burstable beys. Over the course of the past 2 generations, beys have strayed too far from the original idea that these tops will shred into their parts when hit hard, and making even tighter teeth or even unburstable gimmicks will make the game no longer fun. I like the DB system that is making the game more fair for other beys and keeping the original idea intact while still being fresh and fun.

If you think about it, it’s technically the first “Double Booster” set
It's not a booster, a booster usually have only the 3 main parts for just one beyblade (layer, disc and the driver) but in this set, you get some bonus parts (You get 2 layers, 3 discs and 4 drivers)
It's a Customize Set like Cho-Z Spriggan and Arc Bahamut were released in. Not a booster.

The stock layer is an S. The DB disc named "Over" is an S+. The Quattro driver is an A-. I guess I'll give it an A+ instead.
Astral Spriggan is crazy, in right spin its power is increased but not only that, the rubber from the left spin mode still works in battle. Also surprisingly good.

I'm actually glad that Spriggan core is easy to burst, because Spriggan + any driver with good LAD is just ticket to instant win (to the point some tournaments limits spin direction change or ban it entirely) especially now with the existence of Giga + Drift

@@user-gj3md7od5v there's no "depends" Over is heavier, has more outward weight distribution (I think), has more LAD, and released on a Spryzen/Spriggan.
@@Scar-Predator Giga is used on attack and defense combinations whereas Over is for stamina and defense combinations. It's used for balance combinations mainly due to it's functions being outclassed by discs such as Giga, Illegal and Nexus+S; Jack of all trades, master of none.

personally, for me, the left spin mode looks a bit more royal and legend type but the right spin looks a bit like dark beys. so yea I like left spin more.

Wave is actually really good, its got good LAD and it can change performances like Xtend (slow to fast) and now it's a dash driver, i'd love to see it in competitive combos
Wave' is just the taller and non-aggressive version of Destroy'. Nothing improves its LAD and it's not as aggressive as Destroy', but it has slightly better stamina than Destroy'.

The reason it's burst easily on opposite spin because this is the first time Spriggan didn't get Dash driver since Requiem lol.

I realized how old I am...this all sounds so foreign to me. I still have my collection from 2001 when I was just 5 years old... all I remember is that the beyblades back then were vanilla compared to the customizability these new ones offer these days

I've noticed that Spriggan is bursting more on left spin attack mode with the quatro driver (rubber flat) I've also seen it on other beytubers test battles.
It's because right spin has the metal on top, meaning more powerful hits, especially with the rubber on the underside. Left spin is better for spin stealing and stamina.
Cool fact: if you put the over disc on Helios volcano, Helios will still be able to limit break
