In many parts of the Bible , In Psalms ,Book of James and many other places ...God does tell us taking care of orphans and giving justice to the poor is so close to His Heart. Here He clearly gives understanding to the people and congregations of present times who think Faith alone can save them..But here it shows Faith without action is dead. As you were teaching verse 28 ,I was thinking in my mind ...what would have happened to sinners like me if Jesus had not come down from heaven and at that very moment you said... In this horizontal world we are heading towards doom, God had to come down from heaven ....such a humbling experience that He came as a human just so we can have eternal life in heaven.(disclaimer...if we walk in his ways) The biggest anguish I see God is having is that people have broken His First Commandment completely. The comparison you made to Luke:15 is to the point. We serve such a mighty God,who has made borders for the sea.,that it will never overflow...so much beauty in those words. As you said now by looking at nature we know what God is saying. Today as I was reading Bible I got a verse from Isaiah 2 ....I will sink even the largest and most beautiful ship...and I remembered Titanic.Man made ship hit by a God made Iceberg. Speak the language of Bible or we will end up with the language of Babel...a very strong sentence Father Warner.May you be blessed abundantly from above in Jesus's Mighty Name.

Thank you Father Warner The Queen of the South will rise up in Judgement of the nations. Again the north and the south is the hot and the cold in the Book of Revelation. The north being the hearts that are cold blooded, mean spirited, power thirsting, money hungry, morally dead. When you think of the south you think of hot. These are the waters(people) rising up that The Holy Spirit will overshadow. The cold blooded have gotten themselves in a bit of hot water when it comes to Judgement. Our Lady is asking them to wake up, straighten up and grow up spiritually. If they do not listen what is always a mom's last words? "Then wait for your Father to get home." Nothing of the darkness can stand before The Light. They will be as though they had never been. Evil will eventually consume itself because what consumes you in life will consume you in the end. Hence consumation, to become one with.
There is once during the Homily I heard the priest say Our God is so merciful that he may not have the end of the world as mentioned in the Bible. What is your take on this.
Yes fr when things go wrong we blame God When we ourselves created the problem!! . Guess it's due to Anger.. Anger is the biggest Sin.. Which leads to Revenge Hatred And then causes us to fall into Depression... @men. Take care.. As I said often . The destruction of the work is not on Gods agenda. However when it comes to the human soul, mercy must be accompanied by justice
