Thanks for the enlightening teaching Father! Not to downplay climate change but you have asked a very valid question..we are so concerned with climate change but not concerned with the maker of the climate. We pray for mercy and return to Him the maker of the world!

Dear Fr Warner this chapter in Jeremiah has a beautiful perspective on God for there is none like Him. What are idols but man made creations of wood & stone - decorated in finery & all useless. I didn't know about para liturgical groups who border on idol worship by borrowing from other cultures. You have often mentioned that while venerating statues our behaviour shouldn't be perceived as idol worship. Yet we touch a statue or image just to feel connected not as a form of idol worship. Ultimately it is God who is our primary focus & we need to worship only Him. Thank you Fr - enjoying studying Jeremiah with you - for as you said the message of God never changes. Sincere thanks for your prayers & blessings. God bless you abundantly & heal you. 🙏 💞
Lord help me to walk in your way, direct my steps Lord because I easily am distracted by the ways of the nations, and also the modern contemporary world and its attractions. May we all hear your voice and listen to your Word at all times that we may be be saved.

Thank you Father for speaking about chain letters. Pray Hail Mary’s you will receive miracle. Do this and that and you will receive miracles. Send for 10 people do not break chain. 10 people send the same message. Forward and you will receive gifts. People don't understand the highest form of prayer is Mass.
The Prophet Jeremiah - his teachings, may sound like a stuck record.But as you have rightly pointed out that we ourselves are getting fossilized in our attitude towards religion.
We need to be persistent and not look for variety in The Celebration of the Mass.
The Church has its own culture. Our behavior should not cross the borders of idolatry in connection with the Celebration of the Feast of Saints and Mother Mary.
Great is your Name O Lord, my God.We will not bow our heads or bend our knees to venerate false gods.
I have not missed a single teaching of the Prophet Jeremiah and I have been spiritually enriched thanks to the sincere efforts made by you to guide us inspite of the Viral fever.

The beginning verse reminds me ,we cannot serve two masters.We will love one and hate the other.Coming from a Muslim background first it was difficult for me to pray in front of Holy pictures till one day Father Agustine Vellooran explained. Now Crucifix ,Divine Mercy,Sacred Heart images are an integral part of my life.But still can't agree to why in our Goa after Litany at the cross they offer booze😢.Totally a wrong practice I feel.I agree there is none like you Oh Lord.Love verse 6 and 7.You have a beautiful singing voice too Father Warner❤.God promises defeat because of their deceit...What a strong way to put words 🙏.Looks like a sling is more than enough for a Mighty God like ours to defeat people.Actually His breath is enough.He did make David use a rock and sling. Verse 23,24 are beautiful and as you said it should be part of our prayer. Verse 25 at this time period I will humbly beg to differ with Prophet Jeremiah by saying now Jesus has taught us to pray for the nations who does not know the Lord Almighty and who does not beleive in Jesus.
I am little behind as a couple of days went traveling.Will catch up.

I am so happy you brought up the topic of saint 'worship ' that is being practiced by many Catholics. This needs to be stressed by all priests. Thank you father.
There is none like you touched me and sent me thinking our God is the true God then why sometimes we become fickle minded and indulge in silly things like sending chain messages silly rituals idol worship when we have a living God who cares for us and ready to take us back into his fold

First, so good to see you are feeling better Fr. Warner, continued blessing for your health. You perfectly stated that "current topics" such as global warming are becoming a creed. In the wake of new laws in the EU which are now reaching all nations via social media, how should we respond biblically? If one is to oppose restrictions based on global warming, immigration, borders, taxation, they are now considered in opposition to the common good and punished by the laws in place. Simply having an opinion now which differs from the government can put you in jail. How long until being pro-life and Christian are considered aggressive? What must we learn from Jesus to help us survive these troubling times?
At present I don’t have answers except guiding principles which come from the law of God. Thank you for your reflection. It brings a lot of thought to this discussion .

. I'm really discerned because when we are verbally. Praying the enemies ARE LISTENING WE MUST PRAY FOR PROTECTION BEFORE WE PRAYpray as well and some people will say nowadays. I believe there is a God OK what God are you referring to I had this talk with someone so what God are you talking? About are you referring to the almighty? Got created cause that's the only God. And they sit absolutely that 1. That's the God I'm talking about. Sometimes we I don't know I could speak for myself. I have to be very diligent and very careful IN my PRAYERS And everything everything everything the LORD SAYS you do do in MY NAME

Father, we have failed stand up against corruption, injustice. We are even afraid to stand up for TRUTH/JESUS. Is that all idolatry?
This contributes to an unjust society . Idolatry is specific and in a generic understanding it is when we place anything in our lives above the love for God
Father, I have a tabletop Christmas tree app since 2020. Am I idolizing the Christmas tree? I hope not. The birth of Jesus. I honor the birth of Christ That's where I'm at in my life too. It says, in the economy, it's not to on or grabbing images. Is this in regards to mother, Mary statues and other sync statues? And of course, God also indicated not to make images of him of Stone or that's down our wet or Hey or don't me person I don't think. Paintings of God should not be made. I don't know, I'm not too bothered about the paintings of Jesus, but when it comes to making paintings of God you know almighty God, it's a troublesome.
For me, I'm thinking so. Is this in any relations of graven images? Should we have statues of saints in our home? And praying to demo that a form of idolizing or idol lordship, and yes, we must not fix 8 ourselves to the world's entry. But then that would be a lie because we watch TV. We eat. We go to a movie show. Hopefully that's not a form of idolizing.
I think I have articulated my thoughts on the matter. It is a thin line and educating people constantly is the answer
