    This is by far the best tutorial I’ve seen!! I’ve recently been learning how to cut and polish Labradorite and I was looking for a good tutorial so that I would be able to incorporate my stones in the centre. I can’t wait to give it a try😊 I have subscribed to your channel and I am looking forward to seeing more great tutorials ♥️♥️

    • @JemHawkes
      @JemHawkes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh you clever soul, I'd love to see your labradorite. Thank you very much for your kind words fir the tutorial. There are around 50 or so free tutorials on the channel, to which I'm trying to add at least four per month, so I do hope you'll find something of use to you. Very many thanks for watching and for your subscription xxx

      @@JemHawkes I’d really like to share some pictures of my stones with you. Most of my stones are organic in shape since I still haven’t mastered the tricky art of making cabochons but I’m always practicing 😊 Do you have a Facebook link? I could send you some pictures ♥️

    Excellent video! I’d like to ask you how you finish it with the bail for an earring or as a pendant, considering you have the two wires at the end …

    • @JemHawkes
      @JemHawkes  ปีที่แล้ว

      I usually take the shorter wire, wrap it or 2 turns around the longer wire Nd then create a wrapped loop with the remaining wire (small for earrings and large for earrings or wall Décor) xxx

    If you want to make the pendant smaller, would you use the same length of wire or make it shorter?

    • @JemHawkes
      @JemHawkes  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you can reduce the length of the wire but I'm sure you'll find use for the offcuts anyway :-)

  • @lauresa10
    @lauresa10 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hello, again. Since these are formed by bending the wire, Would there be any benefit to too hardening the wire with hammering or something to that effect to keep it from bending beyond What the style intends?

    • @JemHawkes
      @JemHawkes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can gently tap the out edges of the form as long as you're not hammering anywhere the wires cross over xxx

  • @annetteweadock4949

    Is your wire half hard or dead soft?

    • @JemHawkes
      @JemHawkes  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For this project it was half hard but it will work either way xxx

    • @JemHawkes
