I just love how they turn those large walnuts around in their little hands, lots of coordination going on there. Too cute! Those bushes in front of your apartment really get a work out don’t they.
They are feeling looking and smelling the nut to see if it will be good for storage. Small holes or a scent of spores of mold makes the nut not good for storage since it will be rotten when she comes back for it.
ALL animals are intelligent sentient creatures in their own way.
We must understand that they live in nature and no one helps them if they starve or gets sick or attacked.
So they are very vwey smart that's how they survive in nature.
Put a regular person out in a forest withouth tools and moat of us wouldn't last very long.
So maybe we're the ones that are not intelligent, if you look at it from the perspective of an animal🙂🙃
Cutie got up today and decided what she wanted in her grocery basket 😊

One of the many reasons I love squirrels so much is that they never stop, never give up, always push on to try & make it. They’re such tough, strong, resourceful little creatures, they’re just wrapped up in particularly cute & adorable little fluffy packages 🤗🐿

I just love your channel. Do you ever get injured squirrels? We do and it breaks my heart. I try to help them the best I can. I can't catch them. We live in town and we have so many hawks. I hit my stainless steel pot with utensils. I get my whole family to walk towards them up in the trees, they will fly off. I saved one of my squirrels last week. Screaming and chasing it out of our yard.
I guess you've been interacting w/ them for so long to be able to recognize each one. Wonderful relationship you have w/ them. I love it
