I am SO glad that I am not the only one that finds the constant questions in the hospital so mentally exhausting and frustrating. Also the constant vital check and being woken up super early. I never sleep well in the hospital. Hope you are doing well! 💕
Your inn the best place with the spleen pain, allergy and blood count drop. After your having surgery, all being well on Friday. My time in hospital for my abdominal surgery last month went so quick, which is an indicator you are in the right place. It also takes the responsibility off Peter's shoulders. Thinking of you the three of you.
I was telling my husband a couple weeks ago that I was grateful that we are able to see your relationship on youtube because it somewhat normalizes things for us. We are 35 days away from our first anniversary and he's weathered three unexcepted hospitalizations and 18 hours in the ER waiting to figure out when they were sending me 2.5 hours downstate to Bangor because of seizures. I don't remember 99% of 3 out of the 4 of those times due to meds used to control my seizures but do remember all 3 days of being in for DVT and a PE. I was able to see his struggle feeling helpless but supporting me. I hope things go well for you this go round with surgery. Shawn (my hubby) doesn't watch all of your vlogs but if we scroll past the thumbnail he'll ask you guys are if he hasn't been able too catch up on things.

I guess its safer to be under hospital observation when bloods arent good & theres extra pain, treatment may have to change etc. I always think its awesome Peter & Ollie can stay - not the same here in Scotland ☺

And being admitted to a teaching hospital in the US in the month July is an extra layer of not fun.....because it’s the month that the brand new medical residents start! The crazy medical questions take on a whole new spin in July! At the teaching hospital where I work, we keep a running list of funny/ridiculous questions or comments from the newbies (to patients and staff)......because if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry!! Those darn blood counts! Grrrr. So happy they are coming up again. One good thing about CF (maybe the only good thing?) is that you always have a private room. My dear husband has had many hospital admissions, but usually ends up with a roommate, and let me tell you, we've got some hair-raising stories! 🤪 But whenever he has a private room, we always have a little celebration. Ahh I get it. Hospital life...when you can pick rooms youd love to have! :) I got put on like a short stay/overnight floor but for 9 days...private room...amazing nurses. Hate antibiotics though..sometimes I swear they make you feel worse! Hope you start feeping better really soon your in my thoughts!

I get it, I’m so tired of answering questions about my health! The thing I liked best about my hospital stay in mid-June was that they kept me hydrated with my IV. And the hospital was kind of full so I ended up on the pediatric unit and I loved it! 😆😆😆

Cipro is a strong one. It’s one I’ve had orally quite a bit for UTIs. I’m a liver transplant patient and some antibiotics can interact with my transplant meds so they have given me cipro because it’s one of the ones that’s ok to give with those.
Father God had prepared the way for you with the side effects done before hospital questions, a room on the floor you wanted and sunshine!! Counts up so you are doing better already. Praying for the best outcomes and thanks for letting us join with you. Happy 4th of July and I’m praying for y’all. Don’t forget to laugh 😂 You are all so loved❣️❣️
