Brings back memeories of when I was my high school band "The Sidney High All Boy Band" Our town had an boys only marching band, which was changed to allow girls in, in the fall of 1973. I graduated that year. Later when my daughter was in band, I was in the alumni band so we were on the field side by side a couple of times. My parents didnt go to many of our football games. So that extra nice you can do this.
Kurt, moms have to be prepared for everything. My dad used to have a Chevy pickup that he used to pull a camper. My kids called that pickup bed, “Grandma’s largest car trunk.” You are a good son to take care of your parents.

Thanks for the vet shout out. Appreciate it. You can pick your friends, but you're stuck with family. My mom could take 2 bags of chips, 2 bags of candy, 3 large Gatorade, and a 12 pack of water bottles for a one hour drive to the casino. I'd have to make 4 rest stops in that one hour drive that would take 3 hours. She would fall asleep on the way home. Spending that pension money was tiring.
@Retread2006 I used to tell that to my kids and now my grandkids. My uncle used to say the family one all the time. And my dad used to say. Never trust anything that can bleed for a week and not die. The old men in my family had some good sayings and stories.

I have chronic low back issues. I get Botox Injections all across my waistline every 3mo.Yes Botox is not just for cosmetics also good for migraines (I had at one time) underarm sweating(for real) and pain management. I enjoy vids I drove long distance semi for 2 yrs early ‘80s.
