The trailers aren’t spoilers... they advertised the manga with this information. All the “plot twists” that you guys are claiming to be spoiled are probably gonna be revealed episode one, like the manga lays it all out real quick after one chapter
spoiling it just by saying it’s “a cage” is not fair at all, it’s so much more detailed and intricate...
personally I like that they are saying “cage” instead of some of the more specific words they could have used to describe the situation

Like using the word “farm” they also didn’t show us the demons or hint at them being eaten by demons besides that there are plenty of plot twists other than that. As a matter of fact the manga is a series of plot twists so I don’t think it is a spoiler much

I think the show has more than the whole “ahh we are being eaten by demon monsters” situation. That overall plot is supposed to pull the reader in to want to read more... even if anime-only people pick up on what’s going on I hope it interests them to watch the anime ^^^ cuz there are a lot more bombshells comin’

@@didins8949 It's quite different when its your first time watching it (without prior reading of the manga) while its animated, I mean you gotta read the subs but also look at what's actually happening how they speak or move and also the surroundings. I'm sure you can follow through but for sure it will be challenging at times.

I think Season 2 is going to be two cours and feature The Promised Forest, B06-32 and Goldy Pond. There's one chapter (Ch.97) that's a fitting ending for S2, the one which briefly shows Phil, Sonju, Mujika, Norman and Peter at the end. Have the theme song play over that and you're set. :P
Post-Goldy Pond MIGHT also be two cours but I'm not sure. Hard to say right now.

@@ThePreciseClimber sadly that's what I think they're gonna do, however I do have hope because they're going big with the broadcasting, and as you say the manga does provide a perfect scene to make a cut and end the animation but it would leave viewer with a bad feeling; now, if what they want to do is to push people to read the manga mmm that's another story, for now I'm hopeful because series like black clover, tg and even snk, that I thought would be seasonal, ended up being animated with a lot of episodes. All I want is to see THOSE TWO sacrifice themselves and cry my eyes out but this time with background music and their voice actors stabbing me in the heart :')

The could pull a MHA. Im not sure when the manga was originally planned to end but, MHA was gonna end sometime soon. maybe within a year. Now it probably has a good 3 or more years of runtime left. This was due of course, to popularity, but also becuase of a shift in story direction.
To be realistic though I think we only have like 50 more chapters left of The Promised Neverland.
