- This is our apple ginger raisin kombucha recipe. When the first fermentation is ready, we chop up our apples, ginger and raisins and mix it in bottles for the second fermentation. The second fermentation will sit on the counter for three days and then go into the refrigerator. The Scoby and freshly brewed black tea will go into the gallon jar for a week of fermentation and the process continues from there. We use all organic ingredients, as we feel that this makes a big difference in the quality of our kombucha. 
Thank you for your video. I plan to make my first kombucha. I wonder if I need to sterilize all the utensils before the process.
@@shoufen we clean everything with a vinegar/water solution and rinse with clean water. No soaps at all. We also use filtered water, no tap water, no chlorine or any other chemicals.

@@shoufen I would. Good clean high quality water is a must. Very important for your brew.
Use vinegar water to clean. No. Soaps or chemicals.
