Solid review, me personally although I don’t think it was as good as the original I liked the 2019 remake, and I really enjoyed this movie too thought it was a solid prequel. I can’t wait to add it to my collection when it’s out on home video. I personally liked the songs, they aren’t as good as the originals songs but I think they’re good on their own merits “I Always Wanted a Brother” being my favorite and “Bye Bye” being my least favorite. I still liked “Bye Bye” but that by far was the weakest song in the movie.

@ yw, tbh even as someone who liked it back then 5 years ago and still does I fully understand where the people who didn’t like it are coming from. They really should have made the animals express better, they were going for nature documentary realism though. They improved the expressions with this one but still not up to par with what hand drawn 2D animation can do.
I hated 2019 Lion King sadly I remember it being my all time favorite when I got into it in 2001 my born year. I liked 2024 Mufasa The Lion King better then 2019 that has not got to me with it's lifeless, emotionless on the animals. I enjoyed seeing Smiles when they should be in 2024 Lion King. For me Lin Manuel Miranda I love but his music does not fit The Lion King to me not the best music but it grown on me a little maybe more in time. This is not my all time favorite new thing that I seen from Disney but I still liked it. I hate saying what I feel Timon and Pumbaa to much with comedy in this I loved them since The Lion King 1994 movie. They have been too much though with their comedy. I respect your opinions to me everyone is entitled to their own opinions that I always respected.
