its not a carburetor and it is a fuel tank but whats cool is its a redesign of the carb, using agitation of the fuel tank as the vaporizer instead of the jets/venturi/bowl system. pretty rad still, like could be a cool bandaid fix when the carb is junk and only the butterfly is functional and u need sthg to run lol
To all the critics out there yes this is definitely a carburetor. A carburetor simply mixes fuel and air, which is exactly what is happening here. Awesome proof of concept video. Thanks for sharing : )
I was trying to see if an old briggs motor would run the carb was too corroded to save so i was squirting gas directly into the intake with a dropper and small cup of gas. It backfired and lit my whole hands on fire the burns were not serious but from experience this is a stupid idea.
