If you're a real tech user, you throw out the cables because you already have too many (every 2-3 years I end up cleansing my shelves of excess, unopened cables). Throw out the CD because why are you giving me a CD, it's 2020.. Asus. Throw out the manual because you can figure it out on your own and most things configure themselves.

I've been the owner of a Red Magic Mars. While the device is spectacular, I can't recommend you buy their products. There is hardly any after-sales support. No updates (I dont care but you might). And god forbid if anything ever goes wrong, have fun shipping it to Hong Kong. They are stellar, beautiful machines but really, don't do it.
I've heard this from a few Red Magic owners, that customer service is non-existent as well. I really wanted to pick this phone up, I might just get a 2019 flagship or a OnePlus 8.

I mean I really like these gaming phones and I even want one(just for those shoulder buttons),at the end of the day most professional mobile gamers(pubg) use iPhones,as PUBG is optimised for iPhone more than Android and recoil control etc is easier on iPhone and the games never lag on iPhones because of their far superior processing power and optimisations.And if someone's gonna say that what does it matter what PUBG mobile players use,well let me tell u friend that the whole gaming phone market may just run on PUBGM alone.It is a huge phenomenon,especially where I live(India,Asia).There are huge tournaments of PUBG mobile,just like there are big tournaments for PC games in the West.
You should review these gaming phones (Red Magic, Black Shark, ROG Phone, etc.) as possible mobile PCs. For example: See how functional they are connected to a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Edit photos and video. Run multiple, heavy apps. Maybe get one of your editors involved and see how well they can edit a video using the phone docked. Obviously these phones won't be usable in all use cases but it would interesting to see how many use cases it cover. As these phones get more and more powerful I see the possibility of convergence between smartphone and PC becoming more and more real.
