I bought old sewing boxes and after my floor is fixed from the peeling stained concrete, I will fix that sewing room up. I am making ponchos with 41 inch long pockets. I buy dresses and make the ponchos. I am thinking of weaving a trim. I need a little loom.
I'm Chinese American living in the epic center of Silicon Valley, surrounded by all things high-tech but I watch every episode of yours sometimes more than once. You are living the type of life style I can only dream about. It's so peaceful, relaxing, serene, creative, spiritual, everything you do is REAL, nature oriented. By sharing your life with us, making tea, baking scones, gardening, making jams, knitting, DRAWINGS, story telling, etc, etc. makes me feel and hope that one day I could be so lucky to live a life that's worth living. I sincerely hope you will build the life you want. When I was younger we lived in the suburbs, I longed for a life in the country, in a very old house,with lots of animals, garden, meadows and woods. I had to move clear across the country to fulfill my goals, but I did it, and you will too.
It's good to find and create more in your life of the things you value and find joy with. Start today where you are right now, don't wait for the perfect time or place to bring beauty and sanctuary into your life.

Could it be algorithm? I was a mom caregiver for 31 yrs and my son passed a little over a year. My heart is broken and your channel helps me remember that there is still beauty in this world. I am a Christian, and not afraid to say it. I think in this crazy world we need to lean more into the Lord, more than ever. I love your channel; I love everything about it. It brings such peace to me to watch your videos. I love your gardens, your knowledge of them, antiques, just about everything. Please continue, just as you are. We have had to cut many very old trees down, one very large maple very close to the house, fortunately fell away from the house, it was part of the history of this very old property. During the civil war, the little maple tree stood next to the house that ended up being burned down because the house was a lookout for confederate troops heading down route 29. The little tree was burned, but in the years following the fire, another tree grew around it, it was massive. And when it fell, there was the history inside. So many of the trees that used to provide a very shady garden are almost all gone, and now I have a very sunny garden until new ones planted grow bigger. Change, its something we deal with all the time in the garden. Stay true to who you are, and God Bless you!

I think there are so many entertainment options these days that it's difficult for content creators to compete. An almost overwhelming amount. I love your channel and because of you, I have incorporated tea time during the day. I still work so it's a quiet time that I cherish. I would love for you to have more tea parties where you share a book or a recipe. Those are my favorite. We've lost many of our towering pines. I miss them. ❤
I love Jesus with all my heart and that is why I watch your channel is because I know you love Jesus Christ as well. I was so tickled when you got the one donkey and then you ended up with two because she was pregnant and he didn’t know she was pregnant. I especially love all your animals. If I ever unsubscribe a channel, it’s because they don’t believe in Jesus and they’re cussing those things I do not enjoy. I love when you share about the tea and when you cook and I am very impressed with all the beautiful vintage stuff that you own. We’ve had to say goodbye to many trees ourselves. We have lost at least 28 trees and we live in a suburban area on only a little over a half acre. The trees were mostly fruit tress. I don’t want you to be discouraged never give up. I enjoy your videos and I was really excited today when I saw that you did a new video.

I've went to channels I've watched a long time and was unsubscribed, had to resubscribe. There's so many garden and homesteading channels that mention the Lord and they don't lose subscribers. I think it's just youtube. Many go to garden channels that show plants and seeds being sown at the beginning, and I think that's what so many beginners want to see. I've always loved your channel your gardens are so beautiful and videos always peaceful, even your voice is peaceful.

It's actually happening to the majority of the channels except for the very large ones the algorithm changed and when the algorithm changed 2 months ago it put a lot of us on the back burner so to speak it's just something that happens and I think most people are just learning to adjust with it unfortunately if it just seems to do this to us we will lose subscribers and they don't even know that they're off the channel TH-cam actually unsubscribe them
I have heard that-about people being unsubscribed by TH-cam. So awful when you have spent so long building a channel! Maybe make sure that you have other social media platforms where you can alert followers that this may be happening over on your TH-cam channel so they can do a quick check? Also...is it possible that for potentially more conservative-leaning channels (homestead, homemaker skills, Christian/Catholic) the algorithm has been programmed to perceive these as a negative/threat, and are being suppressed as election time draws near? Just a thought....After all, it's a human being who decides how to create and modify the parameters of that algorithm.
I really enjoy everything you do on your videos. The gardening cooking with old utensils, your precious animal family and the ones you make ,your books you share are all so interesting. If I quit a Chanel its usually because all the videos are so similar that I feel that I've already seen it. Your garden isnt pristine but so beautiful and ever changing. The felted animals you make are so amazing and the stories you share about them is sweet. You have so many talents and an eye for beauty that is wonderful. Please dont think your videos are not interesting. One thing I love the most is sharing about the Lord. You are not preachy, just sharing your love and respect for His meaning to you. I have experienced that I have lost many of the small channels. I believe TH-cam unsubscribe them. Think that is what happened to you. Your channel is different from the other gardening channels. I’ve heard this happening to other channels as well Jeri. It’s not anything you’ve done. It’s TH-cam. I know how you feel about your tree. A few years ago we had about a 100 yr old water oak that fell over from a hurricane passing thru our area. The wind & saturated ground finally caused it to give way, her branches were so big & heavy. I used to hug that tree. It was so big I couldn’t get my arms around it. I loved it so. It shaded our yard in the late afternoons. I’m still in mourning over losing that tree. We don’t have many but that one was special. “When it rains it pours” is the old saying when just everything seems to break down all at one time. Lol I like your channel for many reasons. You bring me back to TN, that I adored in my 30’s when we lived in Rutherford County. Your channel is unique, creative & your voice is soothing…a storytelling voice. Your lifestyle is like a storybook, you love antiques & old homes as I always have & you seem to have a kind soul & we are close in age. There are struggles, nothing is perfect but still beautiful in its simple country TN way. Thankful for your channel. ❤

I know the pain of losing a tree. A couple of years ago the prettiest tree, a red maple, on this property was dying and had to be cut down. Don't fret over losing subscribers. People can be fickle. Last year we took down our 65 foot maple tree…leaves turned black and branches fell. This year the bulbs and plants that haven’t bloomed for a long time were gorgeous. All will be well. I felt grief but though weeping may endure for a night, joy comes in the morning.❤

I'm Chinese American living in the epic center of Silicon Valley, surrounded by all things high-tech but I watch every episode of yours sometimes more than once. You are living the type of life style I can only dream about. It's so peaceful, relaxing, serene, creative, spiritual, everything you do is REAL, nature oriented. By sharing your life with us, making tea, baking scones, gardening, making jams, knitting, DRAWINGS, story telling, etc, etc. makes me feel and hope that one day I could be so lucky to live a life that's worth living. I sincerely hope you will build the life you want. When I was younger we lived in the suburbs, I longed for a life in the country, in a very old house,with lots of animals, garden, meadows and woods. I had to move clear across the country to fulfill my goals, but I did it, and you will too.
It's good to find and create more in your life of the things you value and find joy with. Start today where you are right now, don't wait for the perfect time or place to bring beauty and sanctuary into your life.

I am a Christian, and not afraid to say it. I think in this crazy world we need to lean more into the Lord, more than ever. I love your channel; I love everything about it. It brings such peace to me to watch your videos. I love your gardens, your knowledge of them, antiques, just about everything. Please continue, just as you are. We have had to cut many very old trees down, one very large maple very close to the house, fortunately fell away from the house, it was part of the history of this very old property. During the civil war, the little maple tree stood next to the house that ended up being burned down because the house was a lookout for confederate troops heading down route 29. The little tree was burned, but in the years following the fire, another tree grew around it, it was massive. And when it fell, there was the history inside. So many of the trees that used to provide a very shady garden are almost all gone, and now I have a very sunny garden until new ones planted grow bigger. Change, its something we deal with all the time in the garden. Stay true to who you are, and God Bless you!

I think there are so many entertainment options these days that it's difficult for content creators to compete. An almost overwhelming amount. I love your channel and because of you, I have incorporated tea time during the day. I still work so it's a quiet time that I cherish. I would love for you to have more tea parties where you share a book or a recipe. Those are my favorite.

I was so tickled when you got the one donkey and then you ended up with two because she was pregnant and he didn’t know she was pregnant. I especially love all your animals. If I ever unsubscribe a channel, it’s because they don’t believe in Jesus and they’re cussing those things I do not enjoy. I love when you share about the tea and when you cook and I am very impressed with all the beautiful vintage stuff that you own. We’ve had to say goodbye to many trees ourselves. We have lost at least 28 trees and we live in a suburban area on only a little over a half acre. The trees were mostly fruit tress. I don’t want you to be discouraged never give up. I enjoy your videos and I was really excited today when I saw that you did a new video.

I've went to channels I've watched a long time and was unsubscribed, had to resubscribe. There's so many garden and homesteading channels that mention the Lord and they don't lose subscribers. I think it's just youtube. Many go to garden channels that show plants and seeds being sown at the beginning, and I think that's what so many beginners want to see. I've always loved your channel your gardens are so beautiful and videos always peaceful, even your voice is peaceful.

It's actually happening to the majority of the channels except for the very large ones the algorithm changed and when the algorithm changed 2 months ago it put a lot of us on the back burner so to speak it's just something that happens and I think most people are just learning to adjust with it unfortunately if it just seems to do this to us we will lose subscribers and they don't even know that they're off the channel TH-cam actually unsubscribe them
Hey Tessie, I think you are correct about the Algorithm thingy.... we can just do what we're doing despite it all.
I have heard that-about people being unsubscribed by TH-cam. So awful when you have spent so long building a channel! Maybe make sure that you have other social media platforms where you can alert followers that this may be happening over on your TH-cam channel so they can do a quick check? Also...is it possible that for potentially more conservative-leaning channels (homestead, homemaker skills, Christian/Catholic) the algorithm has been programmed to perceive these as a negative/threat, and are being suppressed as election time draws near? Just a thought....After all, it's a human being who decides how to create and modify the parameters of that algorithm.
I really enjoy everything you do on your videos. The gardening cooking with old utensils, your precious animal family and the ones you make ,your books you share are all so interesting. If I quit a Chanel its usually because all the videos are so similar that I feel that I've already seen it. Your garden isnt pristine but so beautiful and ever changing. The felted animals you make are so amazing and the stories you share about them is sweet. You have so many talents and an eye for beauty that is wonderful. Please dont think your videos are not interesting. One thing I love the most is sharing about the Lord. You are not preachy, just sharing your love and respect for His meaning to you. I know how you feel about your tree. A few years ago we had about a 100 yr old water oak that fell over from a hurricane passing thru our area. The wind & saturated ground finally caused it to give way, her branches were so big & heavy. I used to hug that tree. It was so big I couldn’t get my arms around it. I loved it so. It shaded our yard in the late afternoons. I’m still in mourning over losing that tree. We don’t have many but that one was special.
“When it rains it pours” is the old saying when just everything seems to break down all at one time. Lol
I like your channel for many reasons. You bring me back to TN, that I adored in my 30’s when we lived in Rutherford County. Your channel is unique, creative & your voice is soothing…a storytelling voice. I have always loved your videos but more especially when you show and tell about your hobbies, interests, show your antiques, make pot pourri. \i Think your books and artworks, your felted animals and your greenhouse, making your cups of tea and recipes are very different to the other videos I watch. Last year we took down our 65 foot maple tree…leaves turned black and branches fell. This year the bulbs and plants that haven’t bloomed for a long time were gorgeous. All will be well. I felt grief but though weeping may endure for a night, joy comes in the morning.❤
