    She has been on the public stage for at least 5 years now. VP for 3 years and just now a VP nominee pick would be her introduction to the public? Where is the logic in that Mark?

      James... objective comment here... nothing negative. The average person who is not politically engaged is just now seeing her past videos of no fracking, no offshore drilling, healthcare for illegal aliens, no legal issues for illegals, defund the police, etc.. You really only need to play her own words on repeat in the swing states and she has an uphill battle. She's flip-flopping on a number of the above issues, which only gives her credibility issues, a la Kerry in '04.

    For the same reason Newsom and Whitmer didn't even want to be in consideration, I don't know why any real talent, like Shapiro, would want to be picked as the VP. Maybe that translates positively into 2028, but maybe a bad loss will rub off on them as well. Losing ticket VP options haven't had a strong run in recent decades.

    • @DIVISIONINCISION
      @DIVISIONINCISION หลายเดือนก่อน

      I said this in the very beginning. What qualified, competent candidate would want to be 2nd banana to Kamala Harris? They have better credentials than she does and more sense, so why join a loser ticket when they can run in 2028? I also don't know why Mark Kelly of AZ would want to be VP, either. He's a moderate and she's a leftist. How would he sell her platform? He will not win her Arizona anyway. Trump will win there.

She will lose more of the woman vote than you think. She has already lost a significant amount of the black vote. She will split the Hispanic vote or lose narrowly. She never had the rural white vote, and she won't get that either. Her path to winning is so narrow that it's basically impossible. She has no base. Trump does.

    Au contraire…there’s enormous enthusiasm for Walz among Dems. The question is only fraught because of the media. I’m Jewish, but don’t see why, if she chooses to go with Walz, that’s caving to antisemitism. There’s a large progressive block in the Dem party who actually like the policies that Walz has fought for, along with his very down to earth, folksy style. And, as a Jew, that also doesn’t mean I have to support everything that Israel is doing. These views you express are so narrow and in some ways uninformed about what regular Dem voters care about. You don’t see through your own biases.

      No, it isn't. Harris needs to win it. Trump does not. He will win the majority of the Midwest, including the swing states. He'll also win Nevada and Arizona. Harris could win PA and still get killed in the General. I don't see her being able to carry any region other than both coasts. That's not enough.

    I don't like Kamala and will not vote for her but why is her husbands past affair an issue?

      I agree it's a non issue, like when the Left tried to use that photo of Ron DeSantis to pretend he was untoward against his former students

      @@johnsmith-ir1ne As I continued to watch the video I realized thar Mark is saying that Kamala not being fully vetted could present an issue. Since this information was exposed as people are now trying to dig up her past so it makes more sense to me now.

      It’s a non-issue although it will give former President Trump more gossip to talk about. He should stay away from this topic but he most likely won’t.

      @@poloslim5330Yeah her husbands past affair during his marriage before her is far from the issue. She wasn't even involved so she is good on that end, people potentially digging up unknown dirt on her is the issue. I doubt that there are any bombshells to be found, and I have yet to hear Trump bring it up but him and Kamala have been so petty I can imagine he will probably bring it up.

      Biden got elected with Hunter Biden and trove of issues…so what’s a husband’s affair? Hunter laptop…hunter laptop. Still won.

    Marx, that is a crappy and misleading headline. Maybe, "GOP will try to use Harris marriage report" I would bet my upcoming scheduled Harris/Shapiro campaign donations that not one Democrat anywhere gives one flying F thru a rolling donut about the Harris marriage.

    Who cares about her husband having an affair prior to their marriage. That said, obviously a giant question of judgement to marry someone who slept her way into her first job.
