This is one of the most iconic albums of all time!! Glad to know you changed your opinion of MCR! 😁 Helena is such an incredible song, probably my favorite from this album! I'm not sure what you have/haven't listened to before, but I'd suggest In Love and Death by The Used! It's also in the "elder emo" stash lol
@@ToxicPiplup Oh my gosh, so it'll be a real first reaction?? Hell yeah!! I might be biased since they were my first mosh pit experience, but definitely one of my top 10 favorite bands of all time!
Absolutely take time away from MCR after this, as much as I love them, you need to give other people time and they require a lot of energy! 20:59 is a super processed organ setting on an electric keyboard, there’s lots of regular organ on this album too (like the opening of the song!). Bury Me In Black is actually the demo of Thank You For The Venom, which is why that’s the only recording! If you fancy more of this sound I’d say go back to the first album when you return to MCR, but if you want to refresh your pallet of the band, “Danger Days” is their most unique album by far. Personally my favourites here are Helena, Prison, Venom and the closing track, but it’s definitely a hard choice as it’s my fav album of all time! ALSO Awesome to see you enjoyed the sentimental tracks more than the chaos, def didn’t expect that but can’t wait to see what other artists people have suggested :))
My favorite track on this album right now is probably the closing track. The desperation in the vocals is just captivating. You should definitely check out their first album, there’s some hidden gems in there and it’s fun to see where their sound started. Great video!
Thanks! Taking a small break from mcr for a few weeks but that’s most likely the next album from them I’ll be checking out. Really appreciate the support!

The Used have always popped up in my similar artists that I listen to but I’ve never clicked on them and heard any of their music.

Yeah that and thank you for the venom are both my favorites. That’s probably the guitarist in me tho. I like those chonkay riffs.
The Ghost of You completely swept me off my feet
1 thing, I don’t know why
