I recently bought one of this same model of Pandora's Box, from an Australian company. I haven't use it much, yet, but I have to say it is even better than I expected!

At the time of writing (4th January 2023), to the best of my knowledge, the Pandora's Box 18S Pro (Sold as "EX2 A9 10000 titles" where I bought it.) is currently the best version on the market.
I may eventually upgrade the buttons and joysticks, because some people have said they're not responsive enough for some more demanding games. So far I've had no problems, but I only received my Pandora a few days ago.
An added feature, that I'm yet to try out, is the unit I bought apparently has an upgrade, adding the ability to change the aspect ratio from 16:9 to old school 4:3, via holding down one button and pressing a couple of others, or something like that. (I haven't tried it yet)
Apparently the feature is enable via additional software. I have no idea where to get it or to add it on, for machines that don't have that feature, but it's worth asking sellers before purchasing a machine.
Another feature on mine is it has a port to plug an ethernet cable directly from its LAN port into my router, for game updates. It also has Wi-Fi, but I prefer to use a cable.
It also has three USB ports on the rear of the machine. One is purely for using a USB stick that has any additional ROMs (there's and endless supply of them on the net.) The other two are for game controllers. Each USB port can take either one controller or two via a USB splitter.
Something that wasn't advertised is that one of the USB controller ports can be used to daisy chain a second Pandora's Box as a slave to the first unit. That way four people can play the same game, each using a Pandora's Box controller.
Pandora's Boxes can also be used as a game USB game controller on other machines, such as a desktop PC.

Yes you are right....... only way to do it is if you change the setting on your TV (if it has that setting)

Sorry to bother. But i just bought this a few days ago and the buttons stopped working. All of them, it might be a settings problem but i can't even go into the settings since that button won't register either! Does anyone know a way to get into settings with a controller or keyboard?
Have you tried plugging in a wired controller to see if it works?

@@somethingnewreviews6217 Got a nice little job now of putting a TV wall mount up out in the garden now and building a stand to put this on. Going to look great next to the outside bar. I was looking at a 1up arcade, but water proofing it and storing in the winter is too much hassel. This will be easy to set up and put away 👍

Hi, unfortunately i won’t be doing another video for the 18S Pro. There were very few cons i found with it, hence why it was quite a positive review.

@@pm110978 some of the DC and PSP games such as god of war, wouldn’t play properly but to be fair thats understandable as the majority of handhelds with higher specs struggle.
Could you simply turn your TV or monitor off, leaving the system on to prevent the screen burning?
You could do, but not sure why you would want to?
@@somethingnewreviews6217 some games don’t have safe functions like Lightbringer the game, which is an arcade game and most arcade games on the Pandora 18s pro have saved functions, but others don’t
@@Marlevlyn i get that, though i wouldn’t be inclined to leave anything like this plugged in unsupervised for extended periods of time. Thats just my opinion though .
@@mark9373 I feel you on that I was playing light bringer and I was getting way into the game but I had to turn it off unfortunately and it doesn’t have a safe function for it so I just didn’t get to finished
@@mark9373 has your box erased anything from your favorites list because it happened once to me after I got 100 and so games add it to the favorites list I must either hit a button or the box did it itself because the games got returned to the original position so I had to go back and redo it
Its posible play the house of dead 2 of dreamcast?
What was that guilty gear emulated with?? Psp? Arcade?
It’s not possible to tell which emulator was running in the background unfortunately

It does have streets of rage, but i don’t believe its the version you mention
How to connect your Pandora box to your PC and record it?
You would need a video capture card………. I don’t use one, so that’s all i can advise.
On Out run and pole position the shift are working?and the bombjack is in 3/4 screen?
I will check it out for you, as usually play racing games with manual transmission. I will also check out bomb jack for you too.
No 3/4 as the none of the Pandora Boxes allow you to change the ratio. However you can change this on your own TV settings if it allows it.

Is it possible to install other emulators on this? Also is it possible to overclock it?
Not as far as i know.

You have different versions of it, and remember you can go into the Games Market and download whichever version you want.
Does it have Gauntlet Legends? That was a great game! Maybe it's in the store
It definitely had Gauntlet, i don’t remember seeing legends though.

Yes very.
Do you know if you can add games elsewhere from the games market?
Not sure what you mean, but if you mean onto a different SD card and then use that on another Android product, i don’t think so.
@@mark9373 i have a very similar machine an arcadepro mercury 3442 and there's games i would like that are not on the games market, i was wondering if there's an alternative way i could add games to the system
Yes you can add your own games on the one i reviewed, you just have to use an external pendrive.

Yes….. you then need to go into the settings and there should be something there for USB.

Yes it does (or at least the version i reviewed did).
Do you know the main difference between this one and pandora box 12 beside more games?
I think it is the wifi, and games market which are the main differences, but i’m not 100% sure as i’ve never used the Pandora Box 12.
Can you get dragons lair and space ace on this?
No not as it comes out of the box, it does not have any emulators installed suitable for those two games.
