What's actually the most important is that games will remain functional if they have offline bots. That is, games are no longer dependent on corporate servers and services. So when the servers inevitably shutdown, games can still be actually playable with bots.

Bots are important. I can't wait until actual A.I. bots become a thing. You can have ultra competitiveness multiplayer anytime you want, adjusted the way you want without Internet and toxicity. It will forever keep a game's replay value LONG after the servers have shut down and official support has ended.

Checkout '2 minute papers' for this kind of thing and the possibilities.

Funniest thing ive seen yet in game was a group of A.I took over a tank and tried to be sneaky driving it through the canals on renewal map back to our closet home base but a whole squad of us happened to be right there and instantly blew it to kingdom come 😂It was an impressive plan by the A.I though.
When playing bots on veteran difficulty I cant fly anything at all, the bots are supernaturally accurate with the recoilless m5 and the 2nd I touch a vehicle, the entire enemy bot team will spawn in with a recoilless m5 or anti air & anti tank vehicles . Now I wouldn't mind all that so much if my bots were on the same level but they are nothing but canon fodder, I really can't see any changes to my team when upping the difficulty.
I personally don't really mind since there's plenty of chaos going on already with 32 vs 32 BOTS on 64 maps. I have even played 128 maps with 32 vs 32 BOTS and there's still a decent amount of chaos around the map.
Been waiting for them to do this for years maybe a decade, stopped paying attention until yestarday, you know im getting a copy from cd key for $7 right now lol
I am a COD fan but I am bit disappointed after buying MW2 Don't know why this game got so much hate. This game is way better then COD recent release. Only prob is not many players playing this game and sometimes it's hard to find matches
Bot are better teammates than many player haha, they drop ammo, they heal, the rez you, they spot enemys, In the previous sagas you could have 5 doctors around you and none of them would revive you, and the only way to get ammo from someone was put on your kneel and offer BJ in exchange
No friendly ai are kinda trash I play on redacted map on advanced difficulty and my team just gets destroyed and I need to try so hard to carry they need a fix or buff it's pathetic.

It's worth it you'll enjoy it a lot. If you have a desktop / PC you can even play all the Portal maps which has maps from old Battlefield games with BOTS. I might make a tutorial on how to play against BOTS in Portal Mode. Try and get this game for 20 dollars, I wouldn't spend more than that.

@@frosty_sandwich6079 Oh so you're playing online now? If you're still a big BOT fanatic you should try BF2042, but if you want to go for online gameplay I'd recommend you stay at BF1 since gameplay wise BF1 is way more immersive.
Shoot I play bots just to fully max out all of my weapons yes it is bitchy way of doing it but it's much more better than dealing with players that are in tanks and helies 100k and 2 deaths.
when the bot mode is more fun than the mp 🙏

So glad I am not the only one who likes playing with bots. I think they are getting smarter and more challenging.

The bot count would have to be quite low so game performance isn't affected.

Just a shame bots are maxed out at 32v32 and some vehicles like the hovercraft and the Bolte are not drivable by bots
