Don't bring an extension cord, it will be confiscated.......

That's actually not true at all. What you can't bring is a surge protector. We bring our multi-port extension cord every time, on many different cruise lines - all very successfully.

@cruiseandtravel In the uk, we are told extension cords will be confiscated, irrespective of surge protector. Apparently, they are a fire risk..
