SAMEEEEE! I loved it so much as a child my mom got tickets and took me to see them live. Hands down one of the best experiences of my life. If they were to do a throwback performance. I would throw my life savings at it because i would go no matter the circumstances.
Without a doubt, THE most impressive dance sequence ever performed! The speed in the very final phase is just unreal! And to this day, unmatched! I doubt we will every see anything like it again. Lord of Dance is a must see for everyone!
This is the number that made me want to be an Irish dancer. Took me several years, but I finally started taking lessons, and now I compete. I'll never be good enough to be in one of the shows, but I owe a big chunk of my current happiness to the Warriors.
Jillian Rosenberger don't say never it took me eight years to be good enough to learn dances like this, i have danced since the age of four. I was terrible until 3 years ago

Out of the entire show, this dance number is the one that gets me emotional. Idk why, but the pounding of the feet, the music, and the intensity of it overwhelms me. I have watched this over and over and over. I love everything about it. Absolutely magnificent.
Even years and years later I still get goosebumps watching this. I remember being a kid and watching this part on repeat (well rewinding the vhs over and over ha ha) as I was just so mesmerised by them. The passion and intensity is just incredible ❤
I saw this when I was younger and at the time I had no idea what it was about until way later on but I loved watching it. I miss my childhood, but I remember having a vhs and rewinding it like crazy with my siblings whenever we saw something funny or interesting. You never could get enough of that. 😂

This man and his troupe should be lauded as nothing short of true masters of dance, geniuses that could damn well make Michael Jackson blush! God Bless and Godspeed, you glorious Deities of Dance!
Masters of dance, but not gods of dance. I like this show, but it is the result of many hours of exercise. And then there is something that you can not learn. Something god given that can make a dance magic. If you want to see this, you have to watch Michael Jackson.
Im 34 years old and have been a massive fan of Riverdance and Lord of the Dance ever since both came out. I was bought up on irish and folk and traditional music. Most of my friends will never understand my love of this music but i don't care, for me it brings my heart joy. The dancing and the music in this scene is astounding.

my dad was actually in this, we used to watch him dancing on a dvd all the time when i was younger, it’s insane how fast the footwork is! im pretty sure he isn’t in this particular one because he was a part of the original group for lord of the dance but he did do this dance alongside Michael flatley
my dad is a huge fan of this whole riverdance and irish music so he showed me lord of the dance when I was very little and I loved it! now I'm 15 and I still think that this is just awesome!
This is my favorite sequence in Lord of the Dance -- although the WHOLE show is beyond incredible! I played the DVD for my oldest granddaughter when she was about 5 years old thinking she like the rhythm, music, and intensity. She went crazy! It was ALL she wanted to watch, night and day. We must have watched it, seriously, about 100 times. She started drawing pictures of Michael Flatley and wanted me to contact him and have him marry her. Heheh. Truly epic talent all around!
My son was 8 when we saw the original cast with Michael Flatley perform. He was so impressed with the Lord of Darkness and his dancing that he tried to learn the dance by watching our video of the show and bought a black mask so that he could perform it for us and his friends. When he was in 6th grade he and his same friends did a “Lord of the Dance” type spoof at the end of his class’s production of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” just after the six Athenian workmen put on the so-bad-it’s-hilarious Ancient Greek version of Romeo and Juliet called “Pyramus and Thisbee”. (I was co-director with his teacher, so I saw every performance!) The “Lord of the Dance” spoof never failed to have the audiences holding their sides, howling with laughter and wiping tears out of their eyes at every performance. Thank you Michael Flatley for inspiring a group of boys to dance in your footsteps and have great memories to laugh about 19 years later.
I grew up dancing (for fun and competitively) and I remember seeing Lord of the Dance on their first American tour. It was the single most amazing and inspirational experience of my childhood, and made a huge impact on my dance aspirations :)
My favorite part of this epic production. Someone lent my wife this vhs back in the day and I was somewhat hesitant to watch it. When it came to this part I stopped it and kept rewinding it because it is that intense.
I grew up rewatching lotd on repeat and I ended up coming back to watch the warriors dance once a year. It‘s just so enigmatic and powerful! Dances like this are so full of emotion, precision and hard work, also a true inspiration and it shows me how important art and expression through creativity is in the mundane life.
