Initial Power-up of a SABA Freiburg 7 Automatic Chassis After Recapping

This SABA radio was purchased by a friend at a han radio swap meet recently for $5. He asked if I could refurbish it for him - at least so it played ok, but ideally, also with the automatic tuning working. This video provides a brief demo immediately after the first power-on , after replacing 23 paper capacitors (there is at least one more to change in the FM tuner), and 12 electrolytics, I also replaced the selenium bridge rectifier with four 1N4007 silicon rectifiers and a series resistor. The chassis was operating at around 90vAC line voltage for this test. Further work will be undertaken on the chassis over the next week or two.
