I think you're the first one that has actually helped me, every video about drawing a body on TH-cam didn't really help me, more as they made me overthink, or over complicate things. You, on the other hand, gave me some important information. Thank you

I only draw them in 3/4 because I think that's the most interesting and gives off the best of the character lol. I just recently started to draw from sides and even more recently, looking straight. I hope I can learn a thing or two from these angles

Okay, so I did your previous video and these are really helping me in designing characters for a video game I'm making! The thing is, since they're kids I feel like it would make them seem too grown up if they had exaggerated torsos... I don't know, is this right? The other characters like shady NPCs I can handle, and these tips really helped out a bunch. But it doesn't work with the kids, is there a reason? Like, I dunno, their body is still in development because they're so young? They look kinda samey like this, but it's not too bad although I'd love to hear if it's supposed to be like this.

Excuse me, Brooks? I'm in need of some advice on how to properly cloth my character and I'd like your input on what key points would best fit into designing him.
My character is very nimble, agile, mobile, acrobatic. Meaning that he does a lot of flips with up against targets that he's assigned to take down. I wanted him to look flashy but at the same time, I want it to be practical so if he was wearing a cape of sorts, it won't flip into his field of vision and possibly get him killed in the process.
Any and all advice and criticism would be much appreciated and welcomed.

With female characters, a lot of the way you do that is to reduce her "overtly feminine" characteristic, making them look more masculine or androgynous, such as reducing hip and breast size, lips be thinner, spine longer, face more gaunt, etc. If she's big, reduce her roundness. If she's skinny, give her more lean muscle.
Another way is to make her look a little more "messy", such as with displaced hair, rumpled clothes, dirt on her skin if she's outdoors a lot, etc. Think about tools she would be using in her daily life, like gloves, pens, scarfs, or other utilitarian things she might keep on her person. Maybe her scarf is faded because it's a keepsake? Maybe she carries a pen behind her ear because she's forgetful? Etc. Make her look less "presentable". Less like she's going to a dinner party, and more like she's working or relaxing at home. This can include not giving her makeup, or having the makeup be old, such as chipped nail polish.
Another way is to make them look "not necessarily happy/friendly/inviting all the time", like giving them more neutral, annoyed, or vacant expressions where appropriate. If she has no reason to be feeling great in particular, don't force it.
Just think about "What are the differences between an uninteresting woman off the street, and a porn star" and move her more in the "uninteresting stranger" direction. Note this doesn't make the character's personality or story uninteresting, it just makes her less of a professional decoration.
If you follow any or all of these ideas, you should see good results.
