Also sounds and chords have certain patterns which fit them best, when using a certain melody you will find similar sounds have similar products with the scales that are used. Whether or not this is a use of similar sounds or patterns as another song doesn't matter, what matters is the product is a piece of art. If we said that painters using the same brushes, stroke, or paint to create things were ripping other artists off then some of the most famous paintings in the world would not be original works of art.
+Icy Nova Ah, but do you cut pieces of other artist's painting and paste them into your own? Not saying that it matters, or that you're wrong, I'm just saying that some may find it offensive to do so.
