    It was interesting to see the train ride through your eyes. And if your viewers watch the video very carefully, they can spot a little bit of me in the background once or twice. Just look for my telltale red t-shirt. 🙂
    I wanted to talk to you guys on the overnight train, but they made up the beds so fast and so early, and everyone just went to sleep. But at least we got to chat for a few minutes on the KTM train to Butterworth.
    It was quite odd, wasn't it, that there was no place to change money at the border? I was lucky because I still had leftover Malaysian ringgit from my last trip. I didn't need to change money. But for most people, they suddenly needed to buy train and ferry tickets but with no way to get local currency. It was kind of strange.
    Maybe there was a money changer there somewhere, and none of us were able to find it. 🙂

      Hello Doug! Nice meeting you and thank you for your comment! Yes we didn’t prepare MYR before coming to the border 😅
      I am not really sure if there was a money exchange somewhere that area, I asked a local and he said there was none. Good thing the KTM has an online ticket booth so used our card to bought tickets. Whew! 😆

      @@2Feet1Camera There are MANY money changer at Padang Besar 'Town'.. Yes, there is none at Padang Besar railway station.. The locals are just confused with your question maybe..

    Is there any other expence during journy after train ticket , like us there any entry fee type ?

    • @2Feet1Camera
      @2Feet1Camera  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We didn’t pay anything however I am not quite sure it’s depending on which passport rules. There will also be a lot of food vendors that will sell food so be prepared for that if you want to eat more (that’s the only thing we paid during the travel 😁)

  • @jaspreetsingh6802
    @jaspreetsingh6802 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey hi , i also want to travel by train , can you give information regarding entry requeirment. Is there any need to pre book the return train ticket , or is this mandantry to book hotel room ?

    • @2Feet1Camera
      @2Feet1Camera  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello there thanks for watching, in our case the Malaysia Immigration didn’t check to see any proof of return/exit ticket/proof of hotel or alike we just simply walk to the immigration. However it is case to case basis we already booked our hotel prior arriving to Malaysia and we also have our plans in case they asked us we also have our proof as well that we will be exiting Malaysia on a specific date
