GLIDING CENTER IN PUNE!

Adventure has always been very important to me. It's a part of who I am! Adventurous Ashy. A few years back, my father had taken me to this place when I was a toddler. I always knew this place existed but never happened to visit until a few days back! I had an amazing experience and I highly recommend all Pune peeps to check it out!

I too had done my solo sottie as NCC airwing cadet training at mandakkalli civil aerodrome at Mysore while I was doing Bcom in 1980's..👍👍 It's very enjoyable and adventurous...🙏🙏

Congrets sir,I also have done my first sortie in Zen air ch 701 stol,it was a petrol fueled piston engine power glider, in Ranchi airport being a part of AIR NCC CADET,while I was doing my graduation in maths in 2007,....at 1980 I think it was a same tow glider like it...I think flying thease gliders is really an art and skill.

My sister (then a student of BJ Medical College) & I took glider flights in 1970. The cost was Rs 2/- per person per launch. The pilot was a Parsi gentleman. Glider was open and the passenger sat next to the pilot. Hadapsar was then out of the city & view from glider was beautiful, with patchwork of farmlands and much smaller city in the distance.

It costs 187 rs per person and you have to wait in a line on sundays at the hadapsar gliding center at 7 AM
