DigiPower Re-Fuel ActionPack Battery. You can get 9 hours from it. I use that up front (GoPro goes inside it and has a GoPro mount). For the rear, I use a small USBC portable charger with a built in cable that fits between saddle rails and saddle. I electrical tape it to the saddle and the cord is several inches long to plug into the GoPro.
@@justinjewell11 Thanks Justin. I bought the DigiPower over the winter and think I finally have it figured out 🥴. I captured all of the Peak2Peak race (it’s posted on my channel). I’ll take a look at my options for the portable charger option for the rear. I think I got almost 2 hours out of that session at P2P, so I might just run it and let it die when it dies…or try harder to get to the finish line quicker…
LOL. Thanks! I just do what my coach tells me :) Honestly, though, it didn't happen overnight and it has just been continuous work over the years as well as learning about nutrition (also with a coach) to fuel the work and build muscle. That's as much of my secret I'm gonna share ;)
Regarding battery life. I mounted a battery pack to the back of my Chest strap that was flat enough to not feel odd. The Pack gives me 4x the recording recording time, without adding too much more weight. I was able to get the whole course (not uploaded yet). The bummer for me is the camera moved with like 5 or so miles left so it's just facing down the whole time.
At least everyone will be able to see how hard your legs were pumping! 😃. Thanks for the advice. I’m assuming you bought a replacement battery cover to allow for just the power cord to be exposed as well, or am I picturing it wrong?
@@JosephLampen Watched some of your stuff while training too! Started following you some years ago when you had the Epic/Fast Trak review. Wanted to get a bit faster at Iceman over the years so thank you for the advice retroactively as well. 😊
@@michiganclydesdale No, but he finished 4th. He was incredibly strong. There were actually two single speed riders in the lead group through Anita's hill. We dropped one of them there along with a couple of other full gear riders. We also had a guy on a drop bar bike in the group. He finished 6th.
This is friggin cool, watching it while doing stationary training!....The clarity is really great.
That’s mostly why I post these! I watch them on my trainer, too. I find it good motivation.
Congrats Joe! You da’ Man!

Joe, great video. Please make a video on how to get fast. Us average dudes are jealous.

@@JosephLampen I don't use a Go Pro, I use a Gen one DJI Osmo action camera and the case had the cutout for the cable already.

Congrats on another win!
Thanks! You had a great race, too! I’m looking forward to watching your race on my trainer this winter!

He won that wave?

I'm sitting here watching this thinking, how much time until I can punch the clock and then run for the car?!?
What were your position on finish line??
3rd.
@@JosephLampen well done 👏
Do you even calculate leaves in your cornering? 😂 Geeze
Every last one! 😃
You are rollin' 🤘🤘
this video can be more clear
what a pity you have this unnecessary little window on the right, on a normal laptop screen that hampers my view too much. so bye bye
