The Atlanta Hawks mount the largest comeback by any team this season as they overcome a 30-point deficit and defeat the Boston Celtics, 120-118. De’Andre Hunter led the way for the Hawks with 24 points (4-8 3pt. FG) and 7 rebounds, while Dejounte Murray added 19 points, 5 rebounds and a career-high tying 15 assists in the victory. Jayson Tatum (37 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists) and Jaylen Brown (24 points, 4 rebounds) combined for 61 points for the Celtics. The Hawks improve to 32-39 on the season, while the Celtics snap a 9-game win streak as they fall to 57-15.
The Hawks 30-point comeback is the largest deficit overcome in a Hawks win since 1997-98, previously:

The Hawks are the sixth team since 1997-98 to come back from a 30+ point deficit, joining:

Is no one gonna talk about how crazy it was for Hunter to shoot that three towards the end? Shot clock was off so usually you’d hold the ball and let them foul, but he shot it immediately and sank it. If he misses that and the Celtics hit the game winner he’ll regret it for the rest of his life, but instead he buries it and seals the deal. The risk was worth it, that was cold blooded.
