At this point they’re probably working on it. But these little side modes are pretty good appetizers, no pun intended. I do hope they bring Tsunku back for it, though. (Though that might be the hello project fan in me thinking wishfully)
In minigames like Soup Troupe, En Barb!, and Short-Stack Chef, the height of the platforms depends on the height of the character, so NPCs won't miss their shots when throwing, someone's rhythm wouldn't get delayed (especially if the rhythms are at the same time for multiple players), and so the knifes, skewers, and pans are held at the same height without it looking weird.
It's not even the synchronizing that's the main problem on the sub sandwich one, it's that you have to either intuit which spot each food goes in every time or just react with speed. That combined with the CPUs being very quick on the draw makes it seem really crazy to sight read.
Not only is he one of the silliest characters in this game, it actually makes sense for him to be the lead example. He’s got the most well defined limbs out of all of the character models, and it makes the snappy poses look a lot more fluid than if they went with say one of the shyguys that are present in all of the mini games. Though I probably would’ve went with DK for the stand-in over Yoshi for this same reason. Yoshi doesn’t look nearly as smooth compared to Waluigi due to the difference in their models. You could argue that DK is also pretty different, but the limb size is relatively similar (otherwise we wouldn’t really see his signature flex pose easily).
If I had to guess, it's because of the motion control requirements for Rhythm Kitchen. Wouldn't want to lose your perfect because you twitched or something
........
Just bring back rhythm heaven already.
I love watching that game lol

Maybe they are testing the waters
I like how in the second game some characters don’t use stools or have shorter stools

Are the harder modes basically just more difficult types of rhythms?
Yes, but I'm not sure what else you'd expect a rhythm game to be.
yeah, primarily adding off-beats and also fewer synchronized sections
I was following along and doing great until the sub sandwiches. Synchronizing with the other players is hard.

16:45 waluigi looks so goofy doing that pose😂😂
Let him serve in peace 😭😭

On some of these I’d say the middle difficulty looks worse
The second go isn’t middle difficulty it’s just faster
You should do Wario win by shaking the controller on Super Mario Jamboree
Why doesn't Rhythm Kitchen have a Custom setting? They only have Normal, Long, Challenging, and Remix.
15:43 Yoshi didn’t even move aside from his hands and feet
Same at 15:47. Only his hands and right foot moved
And you got the princesses
2:30 I love how everyone gets a lid while walugi didn’t get one
