I currently own a y62 and everyone that has been inside absolutely loves the interior... sure its dated but who cares. cant wait for the y63 looks awesome!
Exactly. It's universally media people who lambast the interior because they are constantly exposed to the latest designs and get to actually drive them. Outside of gazillionaires, average us are much less privileged and tend to focus on things like space.....something the Y62 wins on over conpetitors
Can’t wait!!! Have had GQ’s, GU’s and Y62’s, the Y63 looks amazing!!! As soon as the aftermarket industry get there grubby little hands on them and sort out the pre rego GVM / GCM upgrades I’ll be getting one. Man I just really really hope they do a Y63 Warrior or something at least like the Pro4X the Americans are getting with the Y63 Armada. Soooo soooo keen.
The Y62 has been on sale since 2010. So 14 years. Yes its gone through three face lifts but… old. I have a 2015. The 2010 was also unveiled in Abu Dhabi.
Can't wait! Needs electric steering, bench middle row seats. Everything else sounds OK but will be dated by the time it arrives in Australia as many of 'goodies' it'll come with are/will be standard on everything from a Picanto to S class.
@tuonoape you don't get it. Not all people would insist or need to get either a Patrol or LC. Not everyone who buys these newds to go off-roading. We have had several Patrols and LCs throughout the years and we're very much open to get other types of vehicles that we think is nice. In other words, there are ALTERNATIVES for MOST people.
I'll keep my Y62 and I prefer my 2023 interior and not that space aged Tesla looking rubbish, seats look good. I still prefer the V8 over a V6 regardless of the extra power.
Example, Y62 launched in 2010, Australia first got it in 2013. What's happening now is no different. History repeating itself. All this says is Japanese manufacturers rate the Australia market as non valid now days, where as we once were at the top of list to please market, as in early 70's. Chinese manufacturers on the other hand, they're doing exactly as Japanese once did, "You want it when, we'll deliver" Nissan Australia are shitting themselves, so many Chinese options will be available prior to 2027 and ¾ the price.
I think it looks great both inside and out which is of course a departure from the previous generation looking sħïte both inside and out. I can only assume they sacked the design department and hired some actual talent.
The 3.5 and 3.8 should have an electric force (hybrid) 3.5 should have 450 hp and the 3.8 should have 390 hp. The electric force for 3.5 should focus on the more efficient and little more power but the 3.8 should focus on power and efficient equally Thus both of them will have better efficiency and more power
just getting too big, heavier and hence less payload with same GVM, Air Suspension great for overlanding but limits options for proper suspension upgrade and lift ...
BAD mistake by Nissan. Australia will see first ones 2027... that's THREE YEARS!!!! by the time we can get one here, it will be already outdated. The advancements which are taking place in the motor industry over 3 years will make this vehicle way behind the competition by the time it actually gets here. All the specs and inclusions given now is pointless and irrelevant 😢😢
If Aus gets the RHD only in 2027 - then by the time this Patrol comes to RHD South-Africa - the shape and interior will again already be ancient and old-school... Sad
Why will it take two years to become available in Australia. Oh, that's right, they still have a big heap of old ones to get rid of,and where better than good old Australia. We are a dumping ground for out of date vehicles.
The pricing is going to make or break its success At $125k in 2 years time there will be a few Chinese competitors If they are priced at $100k you would pick the Nissan, but if they are priced at $70k you would most likely buy the Chinese equivalent
Looks very American from front on, does it please, I'm sure it will grow on me. Desire a Y62 Warrior so much, guess I can save up by 2027 and get a Y62 on a great run out price as I did our Y61 in 2017. Waiting on it as we did the Y62, all this says is Japanese manufacturers rate the Australia market as non valid now days, where as we were once their main market, at the top of their list to please market, as in early 70's. Chinese manufacturers on the other hand, they're doing exactly as Japanese once did, "You want it when, we'll deliver" Nissan Australia are shitting themselves, so many Chinese options will be available prior to 2027 and ¾ the price
The crap interior is reliable. The need for all these digital screens and touch panels is destroying the industry. Give me old skool dials anyday. Longevity, over digital revolution.
Ha Ha Ha, they can't care too much about Australia no matter how big the flag was, waiting until late 2026 / 2027 is ridiculous, they won't be selling many Y62 now the new model is announced, so looks like bad financial times for Nissan AU coming.

nah, it's genuinely shit n outdated if you hop into anything 2020 onwards. But each to their own.
My 2017 i30 is like stepping into the future compared to the y62.
Great review guys, I can’t wait to see the new Patrol out on the tracks!
Already reserved mine on the Abu Dhabi Nissan website. Not sure when it will be available for me to pickup though.
Can’t wait!!!

Politicians in the Philippines are looking forward to have this, believe me!
Yup corruption ar its best
I own a Y62 and loving it, 2027? pissing me off, great video by the way
Absolutely gorgeous!
Man, I'm watching almost every video you post and I don't even live in Australia yet.😂
yet? ive always wante to go visit
@@yourchava YET😂😂
I wish I had a crystal ball to tell me I would need one of these in three years. 😂😂😂
The US commentators say the new Armada (Patrol) will have a towing capacity of 8500lbs (3860kg). Will it be less in AUS?
The Y62 has been on sale since 2010. So 14 years. Yes its gone through three face lifts but… old. I have a 2015.
The 2010 was also unveiled in Abu Dhabi.
Cant wait to see the Nismo version.
Looks Amazing!
The sad part is that Australia will be one of the last countries to get the new patrol. 😢
No creo, en Perú llegará el 2030
We are the first RHD country to get it.
Here in the USA its called the Armada and will be available later this year. They just announced it.
Quien como ustedes. En Latinoamérica seguro en 2030😅
When will it be available in UAE
As a greedy American I’m going to get a y63 Pro4x and wait to import a y62 warrior in 24 years
The front kinda looks like a Cadillac Escalade to me.
Can't wait! Needs electric steering, bench middle row seats. Everything else sounds OK but will be dated by the time it arrives in Australia as many of 'goodies' it'll come with are/will be standard on everything from a Picanto to S class.
Elegantly Brutish. 😍
I have to see this going up westerns in Gembrook if you know you know😂
2026!! Plenty of time for people's interest in this car to wane and look somewhere else.
Where? The only other option this size is Landcruiser.
@@666HMJ is it impossible for them to never consider any other vehicle type?

@@ronch550new GMC coming just for your desires to avoid waiting on Patrol. Be here sooner than Patrol.
Nissan should have put twin turbos on the current engine and a nine speed shifter. It would be bonkers.
Even if I could afford one, it wouldn't fit in my garage 😊😊😂
love it
I'll keep my Y62 and I prefer my 2023 interior and not that space aged Tesla looking rubbish, seats look good. I still prefer the V8 over a V6 regardless of the extra power.
Sure Mate 😂
Looks nothing like a Tesla.
The price in UAE from 240k to 380k AED
So, they launch it 2024 and will ba available 2 years later? No one's gonna wait that long.

Nah, transferred to Mitsubishi apparently, kudus to shit Triton looks, 😁
Give me an old GQ with a 400 cubic inch SBC in it anyday over this poncy Toorak tractor ! 👍
No off-road no sales
I want one.
Wait
.did you say order book starts in 2026?????? Im out...wont think about it again

Has any manufacturer ever made an outback reliable air suspension?
Been from climbies in tassie, to ott in the cape in a wk2 with quadralift. Had for 5 years zero issues.
Hopefully they just have an ST model without all that unnecessary stuff....
The 3.5 and 3.8 should have an electric force (hybrid) 3.5 should have 450 hp and the 3.8 should have 390 hp.

No delivery till 2027?
Car will be 3 years old before it hits the road..
Sad😢
The DRL and taillight have the same design is this a way of cost cutting or streamlining the overall design? Hyundai also does this

Not very good for those wanting to buy now. Guess Landcruiser will benefit.
@@tallboy49, order a GR sport now, and it’ll arrive on the same ship as the first Y63’s anyway.
Why order an older model@@markandkim66
Both hot guys
2027? People will forget about it
the new interior is total shit--- ill keep the old y62, and has it got a rear live axle??> and it looks like a lexus gx550
If the air suspension is anything like the discovery no thank you!!!

Al menos, velo por el lado positivo, me refiero a que tu compra será segura ya que en el 2027 sabrás si es mejor o no al V8
