Long time no see: happy new year for you and for your family! About driving in Romania: first of all i think is a matter of getting used to the local habits and with the environment; I got my driving license in Craiova long time ago and used to be scared of Bucharest, now I live in Bucharest from many years and have absolutely no problem driving everywhere; I guess i became wild like the rest so this is the solution :). Last but not least, I think that the local culture of driving comes from the increased liberty that we have here, which is slowly disappearing with the increased regulation ... radars, cameras and so on. License conditions for drivers over 70 should not be a problem if you are healthy, at least in this country. Health insurance is a wise decision, the public system is not great here but at least you have immediate access to a physician with no payment if you are in need, i've heard that in UK you may wait 6 to 9 months to get an appointment if you are not considered an emergency. The state health system is not great but you can always come to Bucharest or go in private for alternative healthcare ... Glad to see that you still like Rovine :)) take care.
I do not think it is the best idea to generalize about driving , about this , about that. You must understand that is a different culture of driving between Romania and from where you came. First and foremost Romanians are Latin people and this characteristic it will reflect in driving and in many other things. Regarding driving, road you will have soon an entire new highway from Craiova . Romania is now both member Schengen and Visa Waiver Program regarding traveling to USA 😉. Thank you for the video ✊.
Great news about Schengen and the USA visa waiver and also the highway from Craiova , once completed. I'll never get used to the Romania driving culture so will probably give up in a few years. Stay safe!
@@livinginromania Indeed drivers are kind of bad,not skill wise, but very impatient which leads to reckless moments sometimes.Lorry drivers are the same everywhere, I've had a few close calls with them in UK,mostly in roundabouts and somewhat is understandable because people don't let them in and they have to force their way in the roundabouts...
La multi ani!🎉
Happy New Year to you too.

Thanks . I think this car will be my last and I'll revert to public transport. Thankfully I am healthy at present. Thanks for watching.
