- In lieu of a party for my 40th birthday we decided to take a trip to Mexico with the kids, and it was an absolute blast. We’ve stayed at Hyatt Zilara Cancun several times, but this was our first time at Ziva. Definitely a much different vibe, but also very cool. The kids loved having dolphins right outside our room, the food was good, evening entertainment was solid, and the pools and beach were fantastic. We did have some rough weather with a bunch of rain, but I was able to get a ton of cool video and drone shots.

The convince stores are a short walk from this resort. One is directly across the street! When I need something I usually just walk to the store. It's much cheaper than buying it from the resort. There is also a pharmacy about a 5 minute walk from this resort.

Hey great feedback. Did you book Dolphin Habitat facing room and how spacious was for family of 4?
Yes, we booked the dolphin facing room. The room was not what we are used to from going to other Adults Only resorts - this room was like a standard hotel room, where we normally are used to a little bit larger rooms at other resorts. Not sure if that was related to the specific room grade we booked, or the resort. It wasn’t bad, just small.
How bad was the traffic to the hotel? We leave for Ziva in about a week.

I think it was just called Cancun Car Service or something like that
Nice videos 😊how was beach? Did you see little fishes? The beach looks so calm… we just came back from beach palace but kids couldn’t swim in the beach because the wave was too rough all the time… will you go back to this resort again? Did kids get sick from food? My son got sick fourth day…
Nobody got sick, the food was good. Beach was nice, a bit small. We looked at returning but found that it’s now part of a time share program and I guess they aggressively try to sell you ownership, so we didn’t book here and went to a different place this year.

@@user-yo3nc3qn6s we went to Grand Park Royal, which had an awesome beach and very nice rooms, but not great food (nobody got sick, just limited options)

I'm debating between this hotel and the Grand Moon Palace..
We’ve only stayed here and Zilara, and to be honest my wife did all the research, I just showed up and enjoyed!

Why would anyone want to swim with captured dolphins?Seriously! Get real get with nature and leave them free!!

It was a company called Mexico Travel, the cars and drivers were fantastic!
