You gotta respect the heart. The man has been told his chances and he’s out there laying it out. It’s not about intelligence anymore, the man is going out on his shield each day.
And as a captain you have to think of your teammates. If Tua is out for another concussion or injury the season is officially finished. Not that Miami has a realistic shot of making the playoffs anyway. Even if they do they are on the road to the 2 seed most likely Buffalo, Baltimore or KC. So yeah.
All the re respect for Tua...He just going out there and playing ball the way we all been taught since 3rd grade. U can't tell a football player to go out there and lay off not even one play, 110% (like our coaches said) every f'n play. Much respect to Tua
I get it cause I played the same way growing up. But eventually people grow up and think about more important things. Peyton and Tom always protected themselves because you’re a QB you can’t help the team win if you’re injured. Tua playing like a crash dummy is gonna lead to another injury and leave his teammates having to play with a backup qb again. It’s recklessly dumb at this point
Dude needs to learn what a business decision is, geez man the nfl is better when he’s healthy and slinging the rock to tyreek.. he needs to learn to slide and protect himself, maybe if he didn’t have a history of terrible brain injuries I would say sure go for the tackle but that just too risky
Tua needs to learn to shield impact with his shoulder. Use those bigass shoulder pads to dishout/soak a lil impact. Dropping down head first is a great way to get another conky.
We wouldnt be clapping if his head had been slightly different angle and elevation. Tua is going to change the NFL in a big way, just not in the way Miami fans want him to
I know that he wants to be a football player like everybody else, but there's a difference between playing quarterback and all the other positions. He needs to protect himself so that the team can win, not put his head down, and tackle low.
Yea, at this point dude is unwilling to wear a guardian cap and also unwilling to even attempt to protect himself during the game. He went head first several times. I’m running out of sympathy.
As someone who played rugby, I Can't help but think there's a way of effectively taking on a tackle without your head being in middle of it. Use your shoulders not your head 😑
I think if Tua just avoided contact at all costs from here on out nobody would blame him.. like if you swapped Cam Newton with Tua in superbowl 50 and it was Tua who didn’t jump on that fumble most ppl would be cool with it.. no one wants to see Tua die of a brain aneurysm on the field..
Tua will never change and he has accepted the consequences that come with that. We all know it will end with him probably being paralyzed but ya know, Ohana. 😂
If you listen to this dude speak before even getting into the NFL, he sounded like he was Licking Windows for a minute. None of the stuff he does now surprises me.
At this point, Tua is an idiot. It's one thing to come back and play, it's idiotic to tackle leading with your head after several concussions. Tua is gonna end up as Ali when older, and there will be no sympathy from me.
There’s a reason Peyton and Tom protected themselves. They need to be on the field to give their team the best chance to win. Tua playing like a crash dummy is gonna hurt his team when he’s on the sideline watching the backup qb again
Clickbait title as tua did not perform a tackle with his head. He actually used his shoulder but just so happens that Rozeboom's leg hit tua's head. I commend Tua for still being a team player during the int. Or do "we" prefer for any QB to stay in his safe zone to raise the probability of a pick sicks? Yes, the spelling at the end was done intentionally
I didn't watch. I won't watch any Miami game as long as Tua plays. I don't want my kids to see him do the funky chicken on the field again. And it will happen.

it you watch, he actually kicked Tua's right shoulder pad first, taking most of the impact. then he just glanced his head.
The more concussions you have the easier they are to get.
Why he don't use a guardian cap is just strange to me. Love his grit though.
The way DB talks he could sell me a used straw when all I want to do is use the bathroom.
