I love this episode so much it shows how Ezra is strong in the force, even Grand Inquisitor is stepping back with impression and fear... Also it's the first episode when we see Ezra can be very vulnerable to dark side, using the darkside equivalent of taming beast - force control. Can't wait for your next reactions

The inquisitor was scared of him it seemed. Impressive!

It was really kind from Sabine to give Ezra this picture. She was the only member of the crew, who wished Ezra happy birthday. Some people see romantic love between them. But for me she acts like a big sister to a little brother. At least for now.

It seems she is starting to care for him in some way, but you’re right it doesn’t seem to be romantic in any way.

@@TopnessReactions Yeah, at this point you can see that they are simply bonding as a family

This is when we really start seeing our group become more of a family. Obviously Ezra is attracted to Sabine, but it's really more of a family dynamic. We get Ezra interacting with each of the members a bit more on a one on one basis so the relationships start building. Sabine had sort of written Ezra off as just a kid but this is her showing she cares about him now.

And Ezra admitting his fear of knowing the true, forgiving Tseebo and saying, that he is sorry to him and releasing his emotions and fear, was very touching for me. And he broke the block in himself and conected with the force. I think, that for the force is possible to influence someone despite of distance. So Tseebo was unblocked too. This was strong moment.

    • @TopnessReactions
      @TopnessReactions  ปีที่แล้ว +2

It was neat the way they did that. Ezra must be a long way from tseebo when that happens, as the ghost never dropped from hyperspace.

    Great episode!
Quite the power display on Ezra’s behalf there! Funny how even the Inquisitor seemed astounded from Ezra’s wrath, lol.

The sense of belonging to a family, seeing their dynamic, witnessing the kindness and care between them (and the unavoidable banter) is what makes this show special for me. George reiterated that SW was about family. There they are, Chopper and all! Great reaction!

I also understand Ezra's emotions about Tseebo, when he found out, that Tseebo had abandoned him as a little child. Ezra's parents were risking their freedom and lives, but they relied on Tseebo, that he takes care about their child. But he left Ezra alone as a 7 years old child without knowing what happened. So, I didn't expect from just 15 years old boy to forgive immediately such a thing and control his emotions. But Ezra has got a good heart and forgave Tseebo and apologiezed to him too.

Well, the thing about Ezra being more powerful as Kanan: There are different parts of the force and different Jedi have different connections to the force, meaning that Ezra might very well be more powerful in certain aspects but Kanan more powerful in other aspects. This is something you will see more and more in this show and I find that such good character building

The animals in this episode and the other one are called Fyrnocks (Fear-nox). They can also be seen in the clone wars, in the background of the bad batch arch of season 7. During their creation, they went through several names including Garcors and Nockfrys.
I heard a long time ago when this episode originally came out that they were supposed to be similar to Mynocks in some way, but I can't remember why.

This is a great episode. A good one for appreciating how good the Inquisitor's theme is, he does tend to show up when you don't expect him. No Fulcrum yet though.

What’s throwing me off is the Alderaanian cruiser. It makes me think Bail Organa, but Kanan didn’t know him. Maybe Hera is keeping even Kanan clueless about the identity of fulcrum.

@@TopnessReactions they did meet in the third episode, but the CR-90 Corvette, actually a Corellian ship, was a very common vessel, which was how the Rebels got so many and got to keep using them despite them becoming near synonymous with the Rebel Alliance

When it comes to force potential, Ezra has more than Kanan. However, at the moment Kanan is stronger because he is more experienced.
I also had a theory in this episode. In the Clone Wars, only characters who used the dark side saw the danger (Krell, Maul, Anakin on Mortis and Barriss). Here Ezra used the dark side. So I had theory that he would know or see a vision of the future that would come true.
