One of the worst areas in video games. Ever. The bleed-inducing maggot monsters, enemies that can stun lock you, obnoxious enemy placements and hordes of those little hooded fuckers you can rarely kill without getting hit by… I don’t level vigor but the level design is dog shit nonetheless… dark souls 3 has great bosses (most of the time) but the level design is atrocious
i whole heartedly agree. level design feels like it actively wants me to not enjoy playing the game. not even challenging or puzzle-like, like the first areas of the game, just frustrating and unfair
took me 4 hours of searching in game, still not knowing where the deacons were (i went the abyss watchers route first, didn't even know the crystal sage route existed until i looked it up). thank you so much!! it seems simple to many souls players but i'm not very good at souls games as much as i like them, so thank you!
just so you guys know if you got sum lloyds talisman you can throw em at the mimic chest to make it go to sleep make sure to hit it with your fist to not damage the goods but after a few throws you get symbol of ararice that increases your soul gain and item discovery by 100 but it gives you a curse slowly draining your health bar
