Aloha, I’m tia 🐝 mom of 5 kids, 34 yrs old, wife of Andrew stokes! April 24th I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. After months of being sick I was diagnosed! My first round of chemo I was in the hospital for 31 days alone due to covid.
I started vlogging my experience here to journal this time of beating of cancer!! Going live every night becuase I have the shakes and aren’t able to make videos or journal.

I know what you're going through Tia I was diagnosed with Kidney cancer in 2014 , when you hear those words you have cancer,your life changes in an instant, and in a funny way it changes for the better, you appreciate life more than you did before. So far I am still cancer free . I also have 5 kids and 8 grandchildren. Take it one day at a time, Much love xx
I too got diagnosed with kidney cancer(Renal Cell Carcinoma) i just found out maybe 2 weeks ago. I have been sooo sick for a few yrs now. At 1st i had kidney disease and not once did i ever think that I would hear the word "Cancer" im going thru so many emotions its crazy. I hate cancer. I see a counselor and a psychiatrist. Its like a duel diagnosis all at once. But anyway Tia i love u girl and u r an inspiration to me honey and u have a supportive husband, mine wants me to be and act like what i did when we first met. He is a super huge stressor and i dont want to be with him anymore.
I missed this live.....but when Andy was saying the human body can handle a lot....so true!!! 👍🏻🙏🏻

I have been in a remission from Hodgkin's lymphoma for 8 yrs now and Jerry ( hubby) has been a great partner.

Your video log for yourself really did expand. You gained a world wide family and each of us has gained your family. I love seeing the children and tonight watching Andy give Rose her bottle and her little eyes closing and her little hands moving around reminded me of the pure innocence of a baby. So absolutely perfect aren't they? Every little move they make is so very special. Your family has taught me so much although you did not mean to it is just the way you share your own life situation. I am 66 yrs old, was adopted in Australia and an infant and moved to Canada at 2.5 yrs. Never was interested in finding birth family, I had a fantastic loving family. At 63 years I did my DNA as a bit of a joke to find out what nationalities I really was, within 3 weeks I had connected with my birth mother, Almost 83 and her words were "i thought I would die never knowing how you were" ( she had cared for me until I was 4 months, as per rules). Less than a year later she and her son flew to Canada and we spent 3 glorious weeks getting to know each other, the next year I went to Australia and stayed with her for 3 weeks. This year in March she was coming again for 3 weeks......then Covid hit the world. Her trip was cancelled and rebooked for next month, it has now been cancelled again and they say maybe 2 years before continental flights might resume. I sunk in a deep dark place thinking why after all these years did I now connect and of course the bond is there and I love her only to have it ripped away from us again. We video chat multiple times a week to make up for it. Andi and Tia without you trying your words taught me to look at it differently, how wonderful I now know her and I she passes (or I do) before we can see each other again wasn't it a gift to have had this. If she passes she will not go without knowing how my life went. I can only imagine the turmoil you are all in, you have and have had huge things happening.

And Major what a fantastic example you set for your younger siblings..Legend you're also a fantastic helper with the younger ones..and Taz and Rose are just the cutest..always moving and having fun! You’re so strong!!!! I have lupus and have extreme exhaustion ... because of you I have gotten out of bed and enjoy my children. I’m also 34 but with 3 kids and getting divorce. Fun stuff. I want to thank you for giving me the push to spend special time with my children even if it’s 5 minutes.
