You need to change the drive belts if it's not spinning it will not continue going. because there's a black and white gear underneath the main drive gear is a sensor if it's not turning it will shut off.

Did you realign the mode switch correctly ? There are identations marks/arrow that must point to each other

it wont fit in unless you align these marks, so its hard to put in wrong
