It's too band that the rock life became such a disillusion to Izzy and he remained low key every since he left the band in 1991. He's such cool guy and most importantly a wonderful song writer, I have a lot Izzy's solo stuff some of it seems, at least sub-conciously like it was written for Guns N' Roses.

I believe shit like this has weight..which translates well to sound, turning live music to Live music. Sad thing the GNR where all kinds of.. life-tasting memories were born is no longer there to share them. I think it makes my favorite NuGnr moment. I loved all of it. Both seconds. Their voices go together well. Like always.

Slash has an extremely deteriorated relation with Axl they can’t Stan each other’s but money calls, so even Slash have joined Axel’s bandwagon, same for Duff after the end of the Velvet Revolver, they both keep doing solo albums with their own band or guest singers but they don’t have enough audiences to make money so that’s why they both came back to the GNR. Izzy didn’t joined that circus, at now with Axl is actually a circus, mainly due to the fact that he prefer solo and is an introvert person, in addition he had a long friendship with Axl that gone to pieces during Use your Illusions albums after Axl sold “his version” of Izzy leaving the band like he was kicked out for the band well being because he had hatred towards he others members and wasn’t interested in the band, while instead it was the opposite. But you know the world revolves around Axl because he own the rights of the band’s name, so he has the money and is a self centered bimbo.
@Rocky Stradlin I have no doubt Duff and Izzy recorded an EP together, and they are still in contact and enjoy to do music together. Axl is a good friend, but as soon as it comes to GNR, he think he’s the owner of the band and of the band members as well, so him being bossy and moody it’s a problem when it comes to play together, add the fact that Axl is a little bit of a “drama king”, example St Louis concert during Use Your Illusion tour, when the double album came out, and the credits on Use Your Illusion II wrote by Axl literally insulted an entire city, makes deal with him on a strictly work routine very difficult. Now the GNR are just a money machine, no more a band just a business activity to get money from. It’s sad because I grew up with their songs and live concerts, the one at the Ritz is my favorite. As well with the natural music lovers atmosphere that you can see in the videos of Appetite For Destruction, where you can see real musicians enjoying their music. Then with Use Your Illusion the music video’s, got more sophisticated artificial due to mainstream attention, just check November Rain, or Don’t Cry. That was the first crack in the band unity, an unnecessary reinforcement to Axl’s enormous ego making him the personification of the GNR, that instead it’s a band of many people everyone with it’s own talent and weakness. It’s like a football or baseball team, everyone needs to play together, the teammates can’t be used as tools for the team star to shine more shading the teammates, that played with the star in order to win together. Plus how the heck Axl’s voice became like that Duff and Slash (who doesn’t like to sing as vocalist, he doesn’t enjoy too much attention) have maintained their voices as well Izzy has conserved his vocal abilities. Axl seems that he doesn’t even try, his voice change in performance levels when comes to being the vocalist for AC⚡️DC, he’s not interested in applying as musicians in the GNR because now the band it’s a trademark, he do his basic no bother vocalist chores at the live concerts but with a “who cares” level of efforts and interests, I pity being Slash and Duff on that situation, yes both of them do it only for the money, they are both extremely talented musicians and it’s a waste of talent to watch them perform with a vocalist/owner with such low level of interest in the band. Sorry for my little rant.
