Well thanks, this was timely. Expecting this light to arrive later tonight. I like what I see so far. Nice, clear beam profile and temperature looks good as well. If Sofirn makes this exact light for a 21700 cell or alternatively modiefies the SP35 a little with a tailswitch that goes instantly to turbo, then that would possibly be an almost perfect EDC light.
When/if you're able, you might want to check out the SC31T SE. It has an orange peel texture reflector and a high CRI LH351D emitter, but is otherwise the exact same light. If Sofirn gave us the same options with the SC31 Pro, I wouldn't complain at all. Great video as always! EDIT: I forgot to mention that the SC31T SE is being sold under the "CSTEBOKE" brand name for some reason, even though it's being manufactured by Sofirn.

It's quickly becoming my new favorite EDC. I have no way of testing the accuracy of Sofirn's claim of 1300 lumens from the LH351D emitter, but for my purposes, it's plenty powerful. Again, if Sofirn gave us the same emitter option in the SC31 Pro, it would be amazing. An "SE" version of the SC31 Pro.
Whats difference between Sc31t and Sc31t se. On website Sc31t se is slightly more expensive yet lower lumen. Sc31t=2000 and Sc31t se= 1300. Makes no sense. What am I missing?
@@Alex-oy6wb The SC31T has a smooth reflector and a Cree emitter. The SC31T SE has a more neutral white, higher CRI Samsung LH351D emitter and a textured reflector. Otherwise, they're the same light with the same user interface.
That would make a good little 18350 light with the short tube, 18350 clicker. I might have to get one of those...I don't need another sofirn but they are all so good for the money.

A friend of mine said that I could use any 5v 2a charger that wasn't turbo, but the one that I have is (I think it's 15W), is this a fact? The flashlight battery could be damaged if I used this charger, or the charger would just adapt and use the standard 10w 5v 2a method? Thank you!

They don't have the best anodising or not the best looking but they make solid lights sofirn. I've got the IF25A and the sofirn sp70 which is hunk of metal! little and large I call them!

Good review. However, I'm really struggling to see the point of this particular flashlight. It's like I commented once before that, these companies seem to be flooding the market with just so so products. Are Sofirn and Wurkkos a part of the same brand? Either way I think that I'll stick with my little FC12. Certainly for now anyway. Cheers mate.
Sofirn's factory makes Wurkkos' products, but they are a separate company. Many loved the SC31 Pro, but preferred a tail switch so Sofirn also released the SC31T. Why not make multiple models from the same host? Keeps prices low and suits more people . Sofirn makes budget/value products, yes, they don't always hit the mark, but they're very affordable.

@@ajackson-ross7295 Never had a fenix fail or even scratch, never heard anyone complain about Fenix QC or customer service. They are always lauded up there with Surefire and Zebralight.
I can't remember if Anduril lets you fully turn it off but it'll be bad for the light if you run it on full power for too long. And I wouldn't want to push my luck with the li-ion batteries either.

You can't say Tactical and have 2 switches 10cm away from eachother! Tactical lights need only one hand for operating. KLARUS has some tactical lights with 2 switch tailcap.

What I use the most is the shorcut to strobe for traffic stops. I use a Sofirn SC31B and it's almost perfect.(for example I have a Fenix LD22 with a red cone for trafic stops and I need to push the tail buton for ON and then the side one for Strobe which is Not so good)

Flashlight should limit the current. The cell can take big amps anyway.
