The Seat can be reassigned, there’s legal precedent…… China is in the seat originally held by the Nationalist who fled to Taiwan…. The USSR seat should be shared by the successor states proportionately….. ie the percentage of the population lost in WW2 for each constituent state…. The power should be based upon the sacrifices made …. The USSR and Russia frequently point out the losses in WW2 so it should be based upon those percentages.

Rubles per dollar, so retrospectively since the start of war rubble is up 20%. Dont get me wrong, their currency is not trade currency and never was. It's not that the West CAN'T build up on the military industrial front quickly - it's just that we've CHOSEN NOT TO. I do think many nations in Europe have taken the United States somewhat for granted. The last thing I want to see is for the US to lower its role vis a vis Russia, but at the same time I think all of the nations of Europe also need to be operating AS THOUGH THE US WERE NOT PRESENT. Europe's collective economy puts Russia's to shame - there is no excuse for you guys not out-spending them by a large margin. You should regard the United States as a "bonus" and not as the "spine of the anti-Russian collective." I realize that's politically difficult, but just the same - it's what you should do.

    • @KipIngram

@@godfreydebouillon8807 Production numbers have political will baked into them from the jump. Look at what the United States did in World War 2. @KipIngram No, that's not how it works. During WW2, the US was filled with factories that were altered to produce weapons and military equipment. That's why from the time we were bombed (1941) to the time we could invade Europe was 3 1/3 years, because something like that can't happen quickly. Those factories no longer exist. If creating investment packages or bank notes could win a war, then we'd win.
Russia keeps all of these factories in place, even builds new ones, to sit there and do nothing, all for the purpose of being able to massively increase military production at a moments notice, which is why all the silly predictions that they'd run out of all this was just absurd. All military production capacity is apart of the state, and is considered apart of the military itself. What they're capable of doing now is VASTLY more than their capabilities last year, which will be vastly more a year from now. You don't have to believe me, but it will be so obvious by then, denying it won't be an option.
The "Green Economy" simply isn't setup for this and will not be able to compete. I'm not simply guessing about this. These numbers are available. The numbers of artillery, missiles, AA missiles etc. The numbers that NATO are producing is comparatively tiny. Their projected output (their goals) over the years to come do not match Russias, let alone throwing China and others into the mix.
I'm sorry, but these propaganda outlets just aren't being honest

In ww2 US was suffering the depression, it would have stagnated as a backwater for decades had it not been for the war. Specifically the way they played it. You see there is nothing financially special about wars, they are costly. The US stayed out of ww2 until every actor was spent and weakened from fighting while the US was fresh and they managed to go through the pockets of the deceased so to speak, THEY WOULD LIKE A REPEAT OF WW2 specifically for it to kick off in europe and for them to sit it out making side bets and loans.

Russia has made advances of 20,000km but the front line in Ukraine is 1000km so that is an average of an amount of the size of a person. In Ukraine people just ignore the air raids and get on with their daily tasks. Russia has not only made significant territorial gains but has also captured Ukrainian soldiers, who have provided revealing insights into the methods used by Ukraine’s leadership. During their interrogation, one of the captured soldiers disclosed that he was coerced into fighting against Russia. Sorry, but here Maxim Tucker is talking nonsense this time. If the political will is there, then what is left of Ukraine could easily join NATO.
His second point what if Russia brakes the peace deal NATO would be at war with Russia!
So he is saying that he is expecting Russia to brake the deal, if not what is wrong with giving Ukraine NATO membership. West Germany was a part of NATO under very similar circumstances.
The third point, he expects NATO to guaranty air superiority (no fly zone) without Ukraine being a part of NATO. Will NATO planes be shooting down Russian planes, that are dropping bombs on Ukrainian cities?
Maxim Tucker is a good journalist, but he please tell me, he was not expecting this question and has not thought this through.

Zelenskyy admitted that Ukraine is unable to capture liberated territories by military force. "Our army lacks the strength for this. It's true," he said. "We must find diplomatic solutions." Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba - “Do we today have the means and tools to turn the tables and change the trajectory of how things are happening? No, we don’t,” Kuleba told the British newspaper in an interview published on Friday, adding: “And if it continues like this, we will lose the war.”
The news from the Ukrainian front line is grim. Ukrainian forces are heavily outnumbered and outmatched in artillery and ammunition. There are growing signs of exhaustion, demoralization, desertion, and evasion of service by both the elites and ordinary people. Russian success is grounded in the fact that Russia simply has far greater resources than Ukraine in terms of both industry and manpower. It has been able to recruit hundreds of thousands of new troops by paying them very high wages, up to six times the average salaries in the regions from which they are drawn.
Western industry cannot produce anything like the number of artillery shells Ukraine needs.

Ukraine lost this war when Putin invaded. War of attrition cannot be maintained by Ukraine given the lacklustre support.

I think you need to go back and listen to what Zelenski actually said in h8s interview and not what the interviewer thought he said because it's completely different to what your saying.

If the Great Führer is happy, then Ivan the common subject is happy. U know, the Russian "vertical of power", higher animal kicks lower animals butts.
