Simon could see the anxiety in Lea, so he took her and her mum aside and told them: "You can trust me. I will take care of you. Don't worry, I will not do anything to take advantage of you." With the pressure of the leading role in a world premiere musical and the entire nation watching her, as well as in light of MeToo, this obviously means so much to Lea and she'll be forever grateful to Simon that he kept his promise. You can see clearly how deep their bond goes. Great respect for Simon Bowman!
Watched Miss Saigon 3 times...Lea's partnership with Simon still tops...their chemistry is electrifying...very natural, not acting...their singing and facial expressions 👍🏻

This song is my favourite heartbreaking piece from any musical, like ever ever. I was quite sure Lea's singing it somewhere so I searched for it - and of course there she is! She's always there when it's about love & departure, always creating a whole world on stage with this amazing voice. Makes me just close my eyes and be there to die for whoever she's playing. No other musical besides Les Mis has moved me the way Miss Saigon has. I haven't even see the show and have only heard a few of the songs and I still can't get it out of my mind. Simon and Lea are a large part of that feeling as well! wow... Just WOW!

Have ya'll saw their performance on Lea Salonga's 40th Anniversary? Simon Bowman was there and they sang Sun and Moon and Last Night of the World. Seems like there's a plot twist of Miss Saigon and the lead roles got their happily ever after.
This is absolutely the best version. Of course Lea's voice is beautiful blending so well with Simon's voice that totally fits the role of a young man in love.
I saw Lea and Sean McDermott on Broadway in Miss Saigon & I lost it when they sang “ The money’s yours”. Tears streaming down my face. I’ll never forget that performance. And Lea decades later sounds spectacular. Looks great too. She’s from another world. Sean still sounds good too. ❤
I just got home from seeing this musical and I can't believe how hard it was to keep from bawling through pretty much the entire second act. So many tears were running down my face as they are right now. I gave myself a headache from holding back. Why does this have to be so sad? ;_; I feel so terrible about war and what happened in Vietnam. How can we live in a world like this?

Cannot wait for the revival - have tickets for opening night and first Saturday in 2014....hope they find a Kim that lives up to Lea's legacy...saw her play the role 4 times during the original London run and she blew my freaking head off...just amazing!!
