" Dil Dhadakne Do" a 2015 movie was directed by Zoya Akhtar ( Farhan Akhtar's sister). Loved the movie and I can watch it over and over again. The film is about a Punjabi family (the Mehras - Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh) who invite their family and friends on a Mediterranean Cruise Trip to celebrate their parents (Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah) 30th Wedding Anniversary. During this cruise new lasting relationships will be formed and old poisonous ones will be cut-off. All the characters played their roles well in this movie. They co-operated well with each other. Their cheerfulness brought this film to live especially in the song " Gallan Goodiyaan". This song was rehearsed before filming. When the song was shot, it only took 1 shot to film the entire song, in a single 5 - minute take. The film to me has it all. A unique story; Punjabi style family; beautiful sceneries of the Mediterranean on a Cruise Trip; & various characters who play the roles of the Mehras friends and family. Enjoy the movie. 😊👍
