- This tutorial shows you how to make a charm bracelet using split rings to quickly and easily attach charms to chain without really even using any tools. This is easy even for beginners with little to no beading experience, and is a great way of using the selection of high quality pewter charms available in Potomac Bead Company locations.

Thanks so much for the easy to follow tutorial! :-)
Thank you so much! this is a great help
Watching this has me excited. I'm wanting to learn to do this and your videos show and tell me step by step.and if I don't understand, let's go to Video. Thanks for great work, keep them coming.
I love your video!!!!
Thank you so much I almost bought jump rings because Michaels said to use jump rings they didn’t even tell me that there were different types glaze I found this
Beautiful
The link to the pewter charms was added to the description. The chain was from a factory sample. The shipment for it is being produced, and will be available in May!
When it arrives in May, it will be available under "Italian chain"
Thank you :)
Where do you buy charms, the chain, and the split rings?
Mine looks cool my friends where asking where i got it
I love your charm bracelets. Will the rolo chain tarnish?
The clasps need to be purchased separately, simply because there are hundreds of different varieties that you can choose to use. That gives you the ability to choose one that you want. Thanks!
hi, does the chain come with clasps or will i have to purchase and attach it separately ?
Thanks you for this! Any tips where to add more charms to a "finished" bracelet that already has several charms equally spaced? Start adding at the end or the middle free links?
I add them everywhere lol that makes them more unique ✨🖖🏽
Where can I order the charms and the chain? I went on your website but can't find anything
From where I get these mini charms
how many mm is the bracelet chain? What size are the jump rings? TIA
Out of curiosity, what do you guys do with the jewelry that you make in these videos? Do you just wear them for yourselves?
sweetwasaaabi Allie and the other girls wear some of it, but a lot of it ends up being sold in the stores.
THEY MAY USE THEM FOR MAGIC
That style will not, as it is e-plated with a non-tarnish coating over the silver.
What size rings are you using or do you recommend? I have some expensive charms and need these instead of the jump rings and just ordered ones that are 7 something, almost 8mm, I hope it looks ok and not too big. I just don't like the look of the super tiny ones and didn't know what to do.
Thanks so much
Not sure exactly what we used, but it is probably 5.5 or 6mm.
I also have very expensive vintage charms I paid a fortune for, and like you, I wanted larger rings so they hang lower so I got them in 7. I like the size, it turned out really nice, BUT, these split rings are NOT what I thought they'd be. Thinking they'd be so much safer than jump rings, the ones I got are not, they're horrible. I bought my jump and split rings in sterling silver since my charms are sterling. The jump rings are strong and hard to open, so they're safe. These split rings sounded great, but they're so pliable and soft, they keep catching on things like my sweater, blanket, etc. and open right up and straighted out like a flat straight wire in the part that was tugged. I even purchased the split rings that said "strong" ones. Thank goodness my charms were worn in the house at that time when I was experimenting and I didn't loose any permanently, I found one in the bed, one was snagged on a crochet sweater and the wire was long, it unraveled so easily. Hope this helps you.
That must be the difference!
Where can I get a chain like this ? Like it doesn’t hve to be real I wanna make a ankle bracelet where ca I get the chain?
You should be able to find something suitable here, just take note of the sizes of the links so you choose the right one:

Hi can you let us know what size mm chain you used and size split ring. Thank you.
Not sure exactly what we used, but it is probably 5.5 or 6mm. You can also check split ring here: www.potomacbeads.com/Metal-Jump-rings-Split-rings-and-Ring-Links-s/2483.htm
I am new to this - can you tell me where you got your chain as I am trying to get some but I am getting scared away from bad reviews on various sites
Hi J Lady, you can get the chains here: www.potomacbeads.com/chain
What size split ring please..
6mm
u good
How big are your split rings?
5 or 6mm would do.
Can we get the materials from Michaels
Well obviously since we are a major retailer with generally better prices and products, we would not suggest shopping with Michael's limited supplies.
so that's a yes...
Well you can always look, but we have no idea what kind of charm/chain selection they have.
okay
Potomac Bead Company
do I need to count the links to add the charms?
It just depends upon how many charms you decide to add. If you want them spaced evenly, then you would want to count the links and divide by the number of charms to determine the spacing.
This said how to make a charm bracelet not how to attach charms to a bracelet
without really even using any tools..."use flat nose pliers" ???
